A reprint from the 90s of the original Dalek comics. I have to say I totally loved these. What was great was how the Daleks started of as the villans, in their own comics, but gradually they'd have enemies come that were even worse than them and so they became the heros and you cheered while they fought of their enemies! In the end it seemed to be moving towards the daleks attacking earth, which I'm glad they didn't do. It was much nicer to see the daleks evolving in their own planet and slowly conquering and going to war. (Even if the story was a bit different to the one later on the show) The illustrations were very colourful and probably a lot more detailed than most comic book art of the time. It had some amazing quotes, Trust me I've made new friends. They're called daleks.
We wish for nothing but friendship. The daleks are just explorers of space. We detest war, so you need not fear us.
I have exposed myself to the rust. I shall die as I made other daleks die- black (emo) dalek!
The daleks are wearing flowers the disease is spreading! To protect beauty isa dalek order!

To be honest I didn't read the Dalek Chronicles, but I read the stories from the dalek chronicles as they were reprinted in Doctor Who magazine first and later Doctor Who classic comics.

This was so good the art was fantastic and we got to see the rise of the daleks as told in comic book form.

Here's the spoiler part, the last story shows the daleks finding their way to earth on the eve of the 1st Doctor story Dalek invasion of earth.

Even after watching 45 black and white television episodes and two feature films, I didn't get the full story of the 1960s Daleks until reading this book. Great fun!

It’s a perfectly decent sci-fi strip with absolutely gorgeous artwork. My problem is I simply don’t enjoy the idea of a series centered on the Daleks. This is probably the best most imaginative version of the idea. But I just don’t like the idea. Not that it lacks merit. It’s just not for me.
