About the author

Olof Landström, born 1943, is a Finnish illustrator and animator. He has also produced animated television series for children.

Olof Landström was born in Turku, Finland in 1943. In his teens, he moved with his family to Stockholm and started at Konstfack, the line for advertising and book crafts. After graduating in 1963, he worked on illustration assignments and also came out with three children's books at Bonniers. In 1969, he met Lena, his future wife and collaborator. Most of his books are written in collaboration with her, Lena Landström.

Buu ja Bää -kirjasarja oli esikoiseni ehdoton suosikki alle kolme-vuotiaana. Oikeastaan meillä ei ollut yhtäkään kirjastoreissua, etteikö Buu ja Bää olisi kulkeutunut kirjastokassissa kotiimme.
Buu ja Bää siivoavat -kirjassa Buu ja Bää päättävät siivota likaisen kotinsa. Koska näillä lampailla kaikki aikeet eivät mene oikein ennakkoajatuksen mukaan, kodin siivous vaihtuu nopeasti lampaiden omaan pesuhetkeen. Juuri nämä yllättävät käänteet tuntuvat purevan pieniin kuuntelijoihin, sillä näissä kirjoissa kaikki päättyy onnellisesti pienistä kommelluksista huolimatta!
Kirjoissa on selkeät, yksinkertaiset lauseet joka sivulla. Myös kuvitus on selkeää, mutta siitä huolimatta kovin lämminhenkistä.

This was my oldest son's favorite book when he was 4-5. Delightful and cute. Kids who enjoy cleaning will love this one!!

This was a good book and it is always fun to read to relax. It is about what happens when Boo and Baa are cleaning. Boo acidentally vacuum's up his sock! When they open up the vacuum dirt gets every were. How will they clean up the big mess now? Read the book to find out!
