A very informative look at gay and lesbian history and culture, from ancient Greek and Roman times through 1989. It looks like and is written like a textbook, so at first glance it feels like it might be a dry boring read. I found it to be anything but, although some of the descriptions of sex acts were written in a completely clinical manner and were unintentionally hilarious.
