A wonderful book that shares some of her Spokane Review articles. It was a joy to read.

This book is a series of short memoirs and essays, from a local newspaper columnist.
It was a nice little read. Millsap is a mother of four living in the Inland Northwest. I was able to relate to her essays about children and life in this area. She is gifted at observation.

Coziest collection of articles that I want to read every season!
One of those books that feels like tea at a neighbor’s house. A book I was sad to finish but I was also smiling. The kind of author I would like to strike up a conversation with in line at the local coffee shop… (and I could, since she writes from - and about - my own city!)

A fast-paced collection of Cheryl-Anne’s columns from a Spokane newspaper. At times funny and sweet, each article takes a curious look at some aspect of daily life. Not thick and intense like Ferrante’s Incidental Inventions, these articles are for the everyday person, and they verge on being sentimental, which I’m a sucker for.
