Book 4 in the Faith on the Line series Walking away from Travis Vance years ago was tough . . . asking for his help now is even more difficult. U.S. Air Force Major Patricia Streeter needs her former college sweetheart's help in a secret internal investigation of suspected wrongdoing at her base in Colorado Springs. But while their pretense of dating keeps the Vance family happy, it stirs up long-buried dreams of home and family for the titian-haired major.
This is the 1st book I read by Kate Welsh. I liked the Christian theme in this story. I liked Patricia's character. I liked Travis's character. I felt sorry for Travis. I thought this book's storyline was boring even though I finished this story it was hard to do.
it's nice that rather than just piling more and more suspense onto the mystery, that some things are now being solved! i like how they're peeling layers of the plot off, while still leaving us in suspense about a few other things
also, i'm once more surprised at how six different books, written by six different authors, flows from one to the other so well
