Trying to see through a haze of scotch and antidepressants, his journey takes him through the flashbulbs of gossip obsessed paparazzi, the confined limits of a hospital bed, the seedy apartment of a neo-hippie, the emotional neutrality of a therapist's office, the social bubble of a Canadian reality show, and the imprisoned realm of a hotel suite with limitless room service.

Featuring a large cast of unique characters, "Fixing Sam" is a post-modern search for the meaning of life in a media-saturated existence.

About the author

Jaron Lee Knuth was born in western Wisconsin in 1978. Suffering from multiple illnesses as a young child, he was forced to find an escape from his bedridden existence through the storytelling of any media he could find. Science fiction and fantasy novels, television programs, films, video games, and comic books all provided him with infinite worlds for his imagination to explore. Now he spends his days creating stories and worlds in the hope that others might find somewhere to escape as well.
