Okay, umm, wow.
First off, I picked up this book at the library because it's short. I wanted something quick and easy to read. A little hour long book to relieve some stress. So I went into this expecting it to be a one or two star read. Books like this normally don't pack much of a punch. Somehow this book was amazing. Like, it made me so emotional and I felt so connected with the characters. I'm absolutely shocked and now I want a copy for my own personal collection. Jacqueline Guest has an amazing writing voice. I need to read more from her.

This was a straightforward, easy-to-read story--just what I was hoping to find for one of the classes I teach. The storyline has enough action to draw the reader. Some parts are predictable, but there are also some events that came out of nowhere (in a good way--surprises are good). It conveys its lessons clearly, using language and vocabulary that are accessible for younger readers. Video games, war, and peer pressure make for a book that students (probably) won't complain about--even if the flip phone references feel a little dated.

Read this quote and you will have to read this book after! ”I have seen you here before, Ryan. My name is Jim kraus. I am the coach and I do like to invite you to join the sharks.”Don't you want to read this book too?
This book is about combating your enemies. There are many main characters in this book. The only ones I wrote down were Jim Kraus, the Swimming Coach. Hugh, Captain team leader. Ryan: the main Author.
The theme of this book; Hugh is the team captain and don’t like Ryan to be in the team .Ryan is combating his enemies.
In this book the setting is Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry,1st Battalion, for the invaluable help with the military detail and stephanie Tabbenor, for the behind the-scenes information only the wife of a soldier would know.
In this plot of this book talk about. Ryan Taber’s father is on his first tour of duty with the Canadian Force in Afghanistan, and Ryan is thrilled.
This is the style of the book that was read by me.Is real story , it provoking thought about current teen… It’s highly recommened.
My connection to this book, other people like young men that play were the swimmers.Me;’ myself, when I join the the swimming team at Castlemont High school.New;’
I personally recommend this book to people that look at it. Is a very interesting book, once you begin reading the book trust me you would not want to stop read it. This book made me image as if I was watching a movie. Oh and this is my first book I have read. I think it’s a great book to read.

The book war games was an amazing book. It can easily catch on to teenagers because of it's plot. the main story is about a boy named Ryan Taber who lives on a canadian military base with his father. when his father leaves for his first tour of duty in afganistan, Ryan sees this as a chance to be free and play this e-game called Desert Death. he also meets this player that becomes Ryan's new friend. However, as Ryan learns more about his new friend, he starts to think he got more than he wanted. this book should totally hit our bookshelves ASAP.
