Heroine is a can-do girl trying to keep her rafting/camping business afloat single-handedly. She rents out a cabin to the surly ex-Marine. On the other hand, he just wants peace and quiet after his recent retirement because of an injured leg. But he finds himself lending assistance to the heroine and fighting a growing attachment for her.
Don’t read if expecting a millionaire hero. His unusual situation: temporarily jobless.
A convenient match-up.
