If you like a good quickie then look no farther. Hot short stories for a cold winter night.

It’s bad. Like really really really bad. I read all the stories but didn’t really want to because they were painful to read. The anthology is from 2002 and it is obvious from the writing and the references in the stories. The stories themselves were explicit but I wouldn’t call them steamy. The stories were too short for me to care about anyone involved. I never feel the need to read any of these stories again

Yes, I know it's Spring and Christmas is months behind us now. But there is no season that is the wrong season for a few spicy, erotic tales of (* ahem) gift-giving.

There are 12 stories here, all by popular Lesbain authors who tackle the holidays with a sexy twist.

I'll just list two that I particularly liked;

When the Giving Gets Good by M. Christian

This is a modern lesbian twist on the classic "Gift of the Magi" but so much sexier. The setting and the mood are modern of course, and the couple is two women who are described as different as you can imagine. One thin and pale, the other large and dark; differences that seem to make them love and desire each other more. The gifts given and the cherished items used in exchange for the change to make their lover happy are proof that not only are we all the same inside, but there is no greater gift you can give than love.

Salome by Zonna

Here we have two friends, one who is in love with her best friend Diane, but knows it is something that will never progress to where she would want it and has come to be fine with it. Though those heated embers still burn quite hotly in her mind and heart. Her best friend loves her as well but knows a romance would ruin the perfect friendship they have.

Every Christmas they give each other a gift. Nothing expensive, usually a token, something the other desires. This year a special gift is given by Diane to her friend. A gift so desired that even the knowledge that the beautiful Dane would never be hers, did not dim the power, gratitude, and love the gift gave.
One sexy story to tickle your dreams and keep you warm at night.

Throughout this book is a little something for every fantasy and every taste imaginable. (Who knew there was a Santa Fetish out there?)
Not every story was for me, some dealt with subjects I found slightly uncomfortable but that did not take away one thing from this collection.

I recommend it highly, for yourself or a give to give a lover a few ideas for next Christmas' gift. ;)

Thanks to @Netgalley, Riverdale Avenue Books/Circlet Press, Linda Alvarez, and all the contributing authors for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

This book did not stand the test of time. Originally published back in 2003 these might have been good stories, but now they were just weird kinks. One story I stopped reading when it said Santa pinched the nipple of one of his elves who was sitting on his knee?! Did not see any consent there as she was flirting with a random customer. No, just no. The others were messy, not interesting or just not very well executed. Not my cup of tea.

An ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
