Having spent the last few days catching up on a few Ken Fite novels I put aside, I realize just what I have been missing. The Blake Jordan series is as addictive as it is action-packed, keeping the reader in the middle of everything throughout. Mixing strong political themes with some investigative elements, Fite has the reader flipping pages well into the night, as he did with me. Another stellar novel that has me hoping there are more to come soon.
A week after the failed assassination attempt on POTUS, the news is still buzzing. A number of rogue CIA agents tried to gun him down during the motorcade’s progress throughout Washington, only to be stymied at the last moment. However, there are still agents out there, with a number trying to cover their tracks.
When FBI Agent Mark Reynolds appears to have tossed himself off a building, some wonder if he might have been involved in the event, but the guilt left him feeling there was only one way out. Blake Jordan, who knew Reynolds well, feels that this could not have been the case and is sure that someone is behind the death. He’s also sure that there are others hunting down any loose ends.
It’s soon determined that the connect to these rogue agent reaches all the way up into the White House, where someone is feeding intel that only those closest to POTUS might know. It will be up to Jordan and a few others to locate the mole, neutralise them, and stop the next plan from coming to fruition. Will they be able to act in time? Ken Fite does a wonderful job pulling on a great deal of sources to pen a must-read novel.
Ken Fite writes thrillers that I cannot seem to put down. After a few chapters, time stops and the story envelopes me. I seem to devour these novels in a single day, proving that Fite knows how to keep the reader enthralled with ease. Fite develops his Blake Jordan character effectively and keeps things progressing with ease throughout the reading journey.
Ken Fite balances the political thriller with some action to keep things moving from the opening pages, especially with this story that follows the previous novel by only a week. The narrative pushes the story in a forward direction, with numerous twists to keep things unpredictable. Fite uses character development effectively, permitting noticeable progression between novels. There’s something not entirely describable that makes this series one I keep following, rushing to grab any outstanding books so that I do not miss a beat. I will have to wait for the next in the collection, but will not do so with patience.
Kudos, Mr. Fite, for keeping things intriguing and on point for all to enjoy!

Riveting and I just could not put it down. This was the most different storyline which made it more exciting. The grammar and editing were better in this book too. Already looking forward to book 10.

Slow paced. First 180’ pages were kind of boring and the characters were really confusing to remember. The ending was great and I liked the plot line a lot but I think it could’ve been written a lot better

an absolutely great series!
I loved each and every book in this 9 book Blake Jordan series. Ken Fite, the author is an incredible writer! I was surprised that this series is all he has written in his career aside from a few nonfiction coffee, etc books. I read this past week that he is almost finished with book 10 and I can’t wait to read it.
I recommend this series to anyone who likes a great, fast moving, exciting plot. I loved an cared about every character!
I hope Ken will continue writing stories once he ends the Blake Jordon series!

Action packed thriller that pulls you in from the first chapter and keeps you on the edge of your seat as Blake and his team race against the clock. At the start his friend's death appears to be a suicide, but it soon becomes clear that it is much more than that. The story follows multiple angles to get to the truth. Along the way there are betrayals, danger, twists, and great teamwork. This series just keeps getting better with each book.

Another excellent book in the Blake Jordan series. Although this book can be read as a stand alone, you really should read the series in order. In the latest installment, Blake Jordan is hunting down the people responsible for an assassination attempt on the life of the president. An attempt that was thwarted by Blake and his team. They will stop at nothing in their pursuit of justice.

This latest installment in the Blake Jordan series far exceeded my expectations! The story line and character development continued to impress! Nicely bundled up ending
Everyone should be pleased, as the plot thickens and the characters are revealed, but Jordan succeeds in the end. Jordan is very much like Ben Porter and this story is similar to the fifth in the Porter series, Epic Injustice. Read it and you’ll understand and enjoy Ben!

Fast paced book
I got so involved in this book that it was 3 AM before I knew it
I am Lucy I don't have to get up and go to work in the morning
I retired I this is the 9th book in the series and they all have Ben
Very fast paced and have many unexpected interesting twists to the action that compel you to keep reading. Loved them all.

A change of pace for good
I picked this up after reading thrillers but this is a different kind of thriller. Its a fast paced story of good people trying to put away the bad guys in the tight way. Its a hopeful story showing their are honorable men and women in government work who do the hard things to keep us safe. A really good, realistic story

Fast paced and drawing you in right to the end. Even though you could read this book as a stand alone it would be much better and easier to keep track of the action if you have read the preceding books. This book is well worth the five star rating.

Since I have read the all the previous books in this series, I knew what to expect. Blake Jordan is the lead character. This is a fast paced murder mystery that come close to the President and Jordan’s team could become the next target.

He did it again!! Another great story. I read it in 3 days. I really enjoy his writing style. The story flows easily and keeps you guessing. I’ve read all the Blake Jordan books & I’m sure I’ll keep reading as many as he writes. I’m already for the next edition. Keep up the good work 👍Ken

Friends with power
Blake never disappoints, a really great story and even on vacation I didn't want to put it down! Who knows if this was really happening could it be stopped? Hopefully there are really good people working for the rights of all of us.

Not Kens best work
I sadly I have to say this was not Ken's best work . The story dragged and was predictable. It lacked any surprise or suspense of all his prior novels (I have loyalty read them all ) I'm hoping the spark and fire return to the next novel

Action and Suspense till the end

Best One Yet!
I am a bit of a book fiend and read a LOT of books. That said, Blake Jordan is one of my favorite books to have. The twisting and turns of the plot keeps you from putting it down. Can he and his friends save the President? You have to find out. Enjoy the ride!!
