In a world similar to ours, mankind separated themselves into two Basics and Sugois. Basics, who could only grow up to seven feet and possessed no abnormal abilities, out-numbered Sugois three to one, but Sugois could grow as tall as twelve feet and, amongst other abnormal abilities, could physically manifest the elements of fire and electricity. Basics feared Sugois for their powers, and Sugois feared Basics for their numbers. Thus, volatile factions from both these camps were formed.
