I have been craving more of the Darkyn world, and what a great story about Jamys. Would have liked to hear more about the Jamys-Chris relationship - is it going to work when she's human?
Lucan is also just to die for in this story now he's in a much better mood ;-)

A lovely short story. Jamys Durand goes to Lucan's jardin to spend some time, but he encounters troubles, as a mysterious person is kidnapping people.
I cannot say anymore because this story is so short! I want more!!
Also we see some of our favorties Kyn :D. I recommend it to anyone who've read the Darkyn series.

These don't work so well as short stories. I can't believe this is the last of this series... I know there are side series from this one, but this one was still going strong and I still want to know about The preacher/kyn and luisa and there are so many other characters to explore... so sad:( I will, of course, read the others:)

The first Darkyn novella I read used Joseph Mengele as the baddie, this one has Elizabeth Bathory as the evil villainess. Despite such heavy-handed choices, I enjoyed this short as well, as it allows the young Darkyn Jamys to come into his own.

I really like this story. After everything Jamys had gone through I'm happy he finally got to forgive himself and reunite with his father...

Jamys, one of my favorite Darkyn, travels to Florida to visit seuzeran Lucan, hoping that getting away to new surroundings might help him recover from the horrors of his past. While there he meets Chris (not Robin’s Chris), Sam’s tresora-in-training. He also has to battle against another ‘visiting’ Kyn, an ancient evil that all thought had been forever gone:
This is a short story found on Ms. Viehl’s website and well worth taking the time to read. For a short story, it’s packed with excitement and unusual danger. Plus we get a few more details of Kyn life. I love the conclusion of the story.
Fave scenes: Sam ‘arresting’ Jamys, Jamys dream visit with Thierry and the fire hose.

Some healing for Jamys, and Samantha getting away with disobeying Lucan. As it should be. These long-lived men need to be shown what modern women expect from them.

Good plot. Loved the use of known characters in an excuting story. Want more of Jamys.

A very good short read! Luce was a great main character in the beginning. There really wasn't a love interest that came together in this one, but it was still a great read!

Another free short story you can find on author's site.
This is James' story and his travel to Miami area where Lucan is the master. He falls for Sam's human in training.

A lovely novella by Viehl. It was centered on Thierry's son and his visit to Lucian's jardin where a rogue Darkyn is a threat he has to help defeat. Love Sam, and it was nice to see her again.
