I am so disappointed with this book. A couple years ago I went through his 12 week program called Peak Producers where I learned of his phenomenal referral system. I was moonlighting as a Remax realtor at the time while working in manufacturing on thirds, and my wife was in nursing school. By utilizing his core principles of notes, calls, and pop bys with his data bank management classifications, my phone was ringing so much I had to make a choice: remain with Remax or stick with manufacturing, and the decision to stick with manufacturing was easy due to the benefits (had my wife already been an RN and capable of providing benefits then we might have came to a different conclusion). Buffini's program works, and when I saw the book at a used bookstore I had to have it, and I read it very quickly. The problem with the book is it has little substance, and he does not clearly convey his program no where near as effectively as he does through Peak Producers. The first part of the book is a little biography of how he is an immigrant from Ireland, his struggles early on with his training as a realtor, developing his lead generation techniques, and how his wife inspired him. Then there are ~10 or so pages of actual substance of database management and notes, calls, and pop bys, then most of the rest of the book is an advertisement for his company, which oh by the way (pun intended), has since had a name change. He concludes his book with a couple pages listing the actual substance of the program, and concluded with the best wishes. If his program was in a David Bach format, then it's easily five stars because as I said earlier, the program is phenomenal. Brian Buffini is an electric public speaker with a phenomenal program, but he fails to sell it to his readers in this book.
