Revolutionary war in Vietnam is in essence communist propaganda written during the war when author still didn't know how and when the war is going to end.
It starts by praysing communist leaders in Vietnam, giving them unscientific praise. Latter book becomes much beter, it gives fairly accurate assesment of waring sides, their adventages and problems. When we think about Vietnam war we are bound to look it from American perspective, this book is not like that, it tryes to give perspective from VC and NVA point of view, why and how they fight. And that is done very good.
All in all this is not a bad book about Vietnam war and if it stayed strict military analysis I would give it much beter grade. To much cringy praise for communism lovers the grade accordingly.
