Rate this book
The unhappy man sits in a motel room with the call girl. The only thing that makes the unhappy man a happy man is a strange and dark fetish. But it does make quite a mess. This story is not for the squeamish!

Sunday morning…in the Topside compound…all about fresh coffee and mutilated hookers. But that’s ok, right? This was great. Lots of build up and a great pay off. Short enough to not overstay its welcome, but still developed enough to come together and feel complete. I reread the ending and am still not 100% what exactly happened with Charlene, but I have it down to two concepts. Either way, it was a very good conclusion and was enough to make me want to have a nice, juicy steak today. Sick, you say? Maybe I am. But at least I’m not making any gross jokes yet. Like maybe…what do you call a girl with a good sense of humor and a yeast infection? A fun-gal…

Well Done!

Loved this story. My third time reading Terry M West (after Cecil and Bubba... and Transfer) and he continues to deliver.

What a feast

Very well written and interesting story, blurs the line between reality and our primal urges. Tasty little morsels are so satisfying.

This was ok. gross, yes - but mostly very sad. The death of life's dreams.
