I created this journal to assist you in organizing your prayer time while helping you make it a strategic time. If you are anything like me, you desire to pray fervent effective prayers but the prayer list can seem long and daunting. There are so many things that need prayer it can begin to feel overwhelming. How do we pray for everything? Well, this is my attempt to help! My goal for this prayer journal is to help keep you focused, encouraged and built up in your faith empowering you to press in through prayer to receive all that God has planned for you and your life. This is a 3-month journal laid out with a weekly focus. Each week I will give you a verse and a short devotion to inspire you in your prayer time. I will also give you a targeted prayer focus for the week. I know at times it can feel overwhelming to try and pray for everything and everybody. I hope that having a focus for the week will help you feel confident that over the next 3months you will be able to spend time in prayer regarding every arena of life. I also give you space to write out your own personal goals and thoughts for the week. Five days of the week I provide space for four targeted areas to help enhance your prayer life, growth, and Having a place to write a daily scripture causes you to be more intentional as you do your daily reading to find that specific word that speaks to your heart. Writing out your specific prayers for the day sets your intention thus your attention where you want it giving focus to your pressing needs. Perhaps you want to target a specific friend or a concern in your family or maybe a decision you are needing wisdom for. Putting in writing what you are grateful for each day helps build faith and provides encouragement. It will also cause you to take note of blessings throughout the day. We don’t want to take anything for granted. Writing out a declaration each day provides not only a focal point but as you continue to declare it throughout the day it will bring your thoughts into alignment with what you are believing for. Journaling is healing, developing, inspiring, motivating, equipping and so much more. How, you may ask? Getting your thoughts, feelings, plans, dreams, disappointments, fears and the like on paper, in front of you, has the power to transform your thinking and living. I am not exaggerating. Study after study has proven this fact. Journaling gives you the time and space to process your thoughts, build habits, and patterns that can positively effect how you view life and yourself. Perception is nine tenths of the law and journaling helps you create the perceptions you need to build the life you want. This journal provides guidance, inspiration, and motivation on your journey to becoming powerful in your prayers.
