When he hatches from his shell, Tee Tee is all alone, and wonders to whom he belongs. But as he looks around Serendipity searching for his home, he finds out that he belongs to himself.
The book has some beautiful artwork while I love the picture of the egg nestled in the sand under the arms of the fern. As always Robin James has a way of conveying you right along with the words of the story.
I felt sorry for the little turtle as he had problems with his shell so much and yet he was eager to learn who he belong to. The book does a good job of telling you there is a difference of being such as a turtle and who you actually belong to, which is actually yourself.
A baby turtle is born and begins a search to find out who he is and who he belongs to. The illustrations in this book are simply stunning. A couple of them I would absolutely love to have on my walls. The story is a bit weird, that of the turtle trying to find himself and after a short adventure returning to the pond where he was born and find that he belong to himself.
