Sidney Sheldon (1917-2007) was an American writer who won awards in three careers—a Broadway playwright, a Hollywood TV and movie screenwriter, and a best-selling novelist.

His TV works spanned a twenty-year period during which he created I Dream of Jeannie (1965-70), Hart to Hart (1979-84), and The Patty Duke Show (1963-66), but it was not until after he turned 50 and began writing best-selling novels such as Master of the Game (1982), The Other Side of Midnight (1973) and Rage of Angels (1980) that he became most famous.

I don't know where to begin, this story left me shattered. There was good moments, bad moments, anything in between of moments. Even the ending caused me a heartache. Its a thrilling story of how life kicks your ass in different ways, where bad communication can twist and turn the stories into a different perspective. I truly mean it when I want people to know more about this story, its shows the hardships people have to hide away from others in order to survive. I loved this story and hope it gains more attention.

Una abogada llamada Jennifer se mete involuntariamente en un asunto relacionado con la mafia, al mismo tiempo el galán del cuento está teniendo una carrera política importante y zaz! Que tienen un hijo, este es secuestrado y Jennifer tiene que lidiar asuntos pendientes con el crimen porque a pesar de ser representante de la ley, eso no te absuelve de lo que digan las reglas italianas. Al principio se confunde con una novela de Jack Jiggings, solo que Sidney Sheldon escribe bien y sabe desarrollar a sus personajes, de repente hay saltos de tiempo muy marcados, pero pues no hay una regla que te diga que la literatura tiene que ser en tiempo real. O si?
