The Christmas Toy is a stand alone holiday Reverse Harem romance by Krista Wolf. This is my very first book by Krista and I was pretty much blown away. I absolutely loved it. Yes, it was scorching hot! But, I also loved the characters.
Mason, Rogan and Desmond have been best friends for years and all work for Green Valley Builders. The three men enjoy taking their Christmas vacations together. The last couple of years, Desmond’s now ex girlfriend also accompanied them. It’s been several months since they broke up so this year it will just be the guys going to Desmond’s cabin in Vermont.
Alyssa also works for Green Valley. She has gotten to know all three men and enjoys their company. She finds all of them incredibly attractive and there has been some mutual flirting but nothing more. Until Desmond offers his spare ticket, the one originally intended for his ex girlfriend, to Alyssa. Two weeks of skiing and being in the company of three very alpha, very good looking men? Of course she says yes!
Alyssa finds the journal of the ex in her room and is surprised that the relationship she had wasn’t just with Desmond, it was with all three men! And, she included graphic details as to what they all did together. Alyssa knows the men are attracted to her so she decides she’ll have to make her wishes known to them. She wants them all.
The four of them enjoy every minute of their time together. What started as just fun quickly grows to more. Feelings are growing between them all. But in their little cabin they are in their own little bubble. What happens when they go back to Florida? Will they all just go back to the way they were before? Or can their relationship continue once they are home?
I really did love this. I loved the way their feelings all changed and grew for one another. The foundation had already begun growing just in the connection they all shared as friends before the trip. All four of them were a perfect fit for one another. I really couldn’t put this down. I had to keep reading to see how it all played out. Of course their journey has some bumps but together they figure everything out. I most definitely will be reading more by this author. I can’t wait to look through her books.

Well. That was fucking HOT!
I’m surprised my kindle didn’t melt while I was reading this. Not even kidding.
This story was highly enjoyable. And it wasn’t just the sex I’m talking about. I actually caught some feelings for Desmond, Mason, and Rogan. These guys were likable. Very likable. And Alyssa fit right in. And right in between. ;)
The banter, their brother-like relationship, the camaraderie, their huge...hearts... made them more than just three hunks with pretty faces.
Alyssa and all three guys work together, so why not go on a ski trip together, right? What could possibly go wrong. Or rather, what could go so right?
Ummm...everything really.
The chemistry was strong with all three of the guys, so how’s a girl to pick just one? She genuinely likes each of them. She really doesn’t want any hurt feelings, so she makes a decision to leave them alone. All three of them.
Cue: The Journal.
After finding and reading some very hot and very detailed events in this journal of the... ex-toy...Alyssa quickly amends her decision.
She’s going for it.
She’s going for ALL THREE.
No hurt feelings, no jealousy, everyone wins.
Problem solved.
Not only was this well-written story sizzling hot, it also had humor and plenty of heart. With a very happy ending.

Well shit, I didn't think I was going to enjoy this as much and I did! This book was HOT HOT HOT and a perfect holiday read. Alyssa, Mason, Rogan and Desmond have such great chemistry and even with a ton of steamy parts, there was plenty of romance and sweet moments between them all. If you are looking for something to easily sink your teeth in, with LOTS of steam and plenty of passion I highly recommend picking this up.

Oh you, book. You book of smutty smutty awesomeness.
I'll be honest...I've never read anything by this author before, and with that title, I wasn't expecting much. At best, I was hoping that it was written well enough that I could just get through it without rolling my eyes too much. Let's face it, there aren't that many well-written menage books out there. Either all the men are the exact same character with different names, or the sex is bland despite the number of people involved, or the book is so poorly written its hard to read. But this, this book...this book is good.
And not just sexy good. There's actually a cute little story in there, and the characters are all fun.
Alyssa, Desmond, Rogan, and Mason all work together, and every year the guys go on a Christmas trip. Usually Desmond's girlfriend goes with them, but they had recently broken up. The three of them decide to invite Alyssa along since they have the extra ticket, and since they're all attracted to her, they make a pact that none of them would go after her in order to avoid hurt feelings and awkwardness.
During the trip, Alyssa finds Desmond's ex's journal, and that's where she learns that the guys used to share Emma. So, Alyssa does what every red-blooded woman would do surrounded by so many sets of six-packs.
Honestly, this whole thing was just so good. Beyond the smut, I loved their entire relationship and how it developed over their vacation. And I loved how it was Alyssa that went after the guys to get what she wanted. Thank you, Ms. Wolf for writing a heroine who wasn't a virgin who needed to be taught, or a shy prude who needed to be convinced. Alyssa was fun and strong and really just a great heroine.
And that scene with the handcuffs? Are you hungry?
I cannot believe I am giving a book called 'The Christmas Toy' five stars, but it deserves them, so there you have it. If you need a good story to go with your smut, you can't do better than this.

My first reverse harem book and I quite enjoyed it. Steamy with a decent plot this was an entertaining read. Good on audio too. Would recommend if you’re in the mood for a spicy read!

Don’t judge a book by its cover but in this case, the book is exactly what the cover shows. It started off okay and got pretty smutty pretty quickly. There were some cute Christmasy moments in it and some drama. Towards the end, it was a little too unbelievable and far fetched so that kinda ruined it for me. I’m glad it was free on kindle!

1.5 ⭐️ I might just be reaching to find something positive about this book…the smut scenes were decent, but they seemed repetitive. The author uses the same descriptive words and I found some cringy (e.g. “swollen button”). The dialogue was ick at times. Other than that, the only real positives for me were 1. it was a quick, easy read and 2. I liked the whole small town, cabin in the woods vibe.
However, the characters lacked depth and I often got them mixed up (not that it really matters). The author tried to differentiate them by giving them different hair and eye color and briefly touching on family background. Basically, they are all gorgeous, ripped, have very large weens, and are best friends who also work together.
Speaking of working together…why are we banging our coworkers?! And I found it weird that three best friends are all very intimate together. But hey, who am I to judge?
Lastly, did anyone edit this book? There were so many errors it was comical. Some words were just completely omitted. And then you have “blue diamond” instead of “black diamond” in reference to skiing. But really my favorite was “She dropped her head into my lap, pulling ME manhood free”. Arg, matey. 🏴☠️

When its time for the annual Christmas trip but Desmond's girlfriend breaks up with him so now there is an extra ticket so he offers it to Alyssa to come with him and the guys cause she is liked by the others in the office. When she agrees to go to Vermont with them for Christmas she shows them up in everything they do. She finds Emmas journal tucked away and finds out she wasn't just sleeping with her boyfriend but with his friends as well she wants to have the same experience. What happens when she spills that she knows about the journal? What happens when you get snowed in with nothing to do?
I thought this was a really good standalone RH. It flowed really nicely. I thought for how it all worked out was great. Emma is a twat though! I wanted to slap her silly! I really thought the spice was well done but I was hoping for a bit more group scenes considering the perfect ratio.

I am convinced this book, along with the glowing reviews, was written by AI because what the fuck? It’s literally like someone prompted ChatGPT to write a BTS of a bad porn. The guys were all interchangeable with no defining characteristics except goatee (bleh) and one of them apparently has the thickest schlong in the world 🙄 and the FMC was a straight up one dimensional bimbo. The only good thing about this book is I get to bash this with my book club and that is always a good time. 1/5 stars was me being generous

I was originally going to give this 3 stars…. But these men and the spice saved it for me.
Alyssa is so thirsty in the beginning of this story it’s honestly a little degrading. HYDRATION IS KEY LADIES! No one likes a thirsty women. It almost killed this story for me.
The men and the spice though… lord have mercy they saved this story! The spice was amazing so if you are looking for a good smutty book this is for you. Alyssa does get better as the story continues.

You will kinda know what is going to happen in the plot of the book but that doesn't take away from the storyline.
Wow this is one hot passionate steamy read that will get you very hot under the collar.
Alyssa has always been the flirty one in the office but only with Mason, Rogan and Desmond. She may of kisses one of them and had a special moment with another one but nothing had really happened. So when Mason. Desmond and Rogan get ready to go on holiday for Christmas they invite Alyssa. Who doesn't have anything special on for Christmas and the lads have a spare ticket because Desmond just broke up with his girlfriend.
When they arrive Desmond gives Alyssa the master suite as it has its own bathroom and the lads can share the other one. When she finds a diary that belongs to Desmond's ex. And it opens her eyes. So now the real fun begins
This is a great read with loads of passion and twists. It will make you laugh and smile it will get you hot under the collar and it will make you so angry you will want to scream. but overall its a great Christmas read!!!!

Plot? What plot? Just snow and sexy times. I couldn't tell you anyone's names nor what they do nor why they existed. Why they like each other? Nope. Just sex and vibes. I would've given it 3 stars if it was shorter, but for a book that is 300+ pages, I would've liked to give a fuck about the people I was reading fucking all over the place.

Plot: 4/5 • Smut: 5/5 ————-> While on an invited Christmas vacation with her three coworkers, Alyssa finds one of the guys, Desmond’s, ex girlfriends diary in a drawer. This diary is filled with all the steamy action that desmond, his ex and his two best friends enjoyed. 😉 together.
Alyssa wants to be her. She wants to take the roll between the three guys. After a couple days of skating, skiing, flirting, she finally throws down the hammer and offers herself up as a toy for Rogan, Desmond and Mason. Her wish was absolutely granted.
They fulfill all her fantasies and theirs over the next week together. Living blissfully unaware on cloud 9. Until Desmond’s ex, Emma, shows back up at the cabin uninvited. She makes threats and wants Desmond back, even though she’s the one who broke up with him and left. They finally
get Emma to leave, but plot twist, she’s their bosses daughter. So she’s not going too far.
Emma makes their lives miserable back at the office when everyone returns. However, the guys and Alyssa move forward and stay together. The sabotage gets to the point where Desmond quits his job. All this filthy and sexual experiences that the ex girl had with Desmond......and his two best friends Rogan and Mason.
I’ll give it to Alyssa. That girl saw an opportunity to explore with all three dudes and she RAN with it. And she did it with 0% shame. It was a delight to see her say what she wanted without hesitation and those guys were all too happy to fulfill her fantasies.
The setting of this story was perfection. I am a sucker for a snow covered cabin, and at one point they get snowed in which was even better. They all had fantastic chemistry from the very beginning so it was a delight to just watch it grow.
I highly recommend this to those of you who like RH, explicit sex scenes, holiday romances, and fun times in a snowy cabin.

Sparks fly between them all as they start exploring the town and doing activities. When Alyssa found Emma's diary who was Desmond's ex she couldn't believe what she was reading. Everything she read turned her on and made her wish it was her. Soon she was noticing the looks coming from the guys and she knew what she wanted the question was could she take that risk and go for it? What would happen after they return home? Would they still be together? What about Emma?

- Taken multiple shots of Malört
- Snaked & cleaned my shower drain
- Gotten 5 consecutive tetanus shots
- Drunk texted my boss
- Had my period for a month straight
- Eaten very expired yogurt

If you like more spice than plot, this is your book. Plot the author did give was decent. I liked others from Krista Wolf. I listen to audiobooks and the narrator on this one was CRINGY!

I really enjoyed the book and how spicy it got! It was a tad cheesy but it was really good overall!
