Messing with me is one thing.
Tearing me away from my men? That’s an act of war.

Just when Torr and I had our first passionate night together, our undercover mission went t*ts up. For all I know, he might be lost to me forever. So after staggering alone through the desert, I’m calling on reinforcements for help.

Dead or alive, I’m avenging Torr. I’ve been in love with my brother’s best friend for too long to let him go…and Santos. The deadly gladiator also has an iron grip on my heart, and to fail him would cut me deeper than his machetes.

But we quickly realize the cult we infiltrated is more powerful than we ever imagined. It’ll take everything we have to make it out of this alive…and together. Even with Devin, a gladiator with incredible knife skills and even better body, testing my nerves at every turn.

They hurt my loved ones and I’ve got gods on my side. I’ll make this cult regret letting me live.

Their biggest mistake was believing me to be harmless.

Vengeful Gods MC is a dystopian whychoose/reverse harem series with fantasy elements. This series takes place in the same world as Steel Demons MC and Their Sons of Odin MC.

This series is just not what I was expecting. It's exhilarating and doesn't stop and just when you think things are going to go in one direction - boom, they go in another!

Rori is a force to be reckoned with. With the determination to get back to her guys, she enlists friends and family, who operate the Valkyrie Network to help develop a plan of action to tear down the Canyon coliseum.

After a wild shoot out and an incredible rescue, with the help of Chasing Death MC - Rory has Torr and Santos back and can finally rest. Only the rest doesn't last long as she is determined to get behind the owners of it all. On to the next mission, we came back to what started it all - The Sisters of Bathory.

The steam cranks up with both Torr and Santos as they both decide Rory is what they want and are determined to make this unconventional relationship work. Devin is a wild card and when we meet Hudson - it's definitely clear, trouble is coming. Not to mention the ominous message the Gods leave us with at the end. Not every God is good, and it seems Rory is about to have the fight of her life coming up.

When everything comes crashing down, will the Vengeful Gods MC have her back? Does the MFM romance turn into more? I cannot wait to find out!!

The author also does great at really introducing us to more characters, maybe for future books in this world. Gwen and Carter have my attention and I am looking forward to maybe reading about them too.

*Overall 5/5
*Heat? 4/5
*Med Burn
*Multiple first person POV
*MFM Relationship, so far.....
*Ends on cryptic cliffhanger

I can't even begin to explain how much I love this world. I loved Mari's series and Kyrie's book and Rori is just the icing on the cake. She's grown up inside the Steel Demons MC, so she knows the ins and outs of that lifestyle. She's also every compassionate and headstrong.

Rori felt guilty about what happened at the end of Faithless and has vowed to set things right. Harmless is action packed from the beginning to the end. Everything in this world ties together and I love that!

I am so excited for the next one. I can't get enough of Rori and her men!

I don't think Crystal Ash is capable of writing a book that I won't like.

I'm really loving this series so far! The Steel Demons MC introduced me to this world, but Ash's writing has kept me a fan. I love the world and character building, and storyline--it's all freaking fantastic.

As for Harmless, this is a solid follow up to Faithless. It always takes me a little to warm up to characters, but I'm finding myself really loving Rori and her brand of sass. The MMCs are not to be ignored either, and I love the delicious tension between them. I absolutely cannot wait for book 3!!!

If you loved the SDMC series, then you will love this one. If you are new to this series, I would recommend you starting with the SDMC series first, but you have to, but I highly recommend that you do. These books are set in a dystopian world and the FMC will have multiple love interests.

I couldn’t put this book down. It picked right up where one left off I love Aurora and how badass she is. The evil her and her men are fighting is horrific and I hope they kick some butt. Even the side characters are interesting.

Harmless is book two in the Vengeful Gods series. There was a small cliffie from book one, and book two opens right up with Rori and Torr captured and Rori promising to return and free not just Torr and Santos, but ALL the gladiators. It’s an epic battle to get everyone out, and everyone is hoping for a little down time, but of course that doesn’t happen. Rori discovers who is behind the arena (Sisters of Bathory) and makes it her mission to bring them down.

There isn’t much steam until about 50% in, and then it begins. Torr and Rori want to add Santos into their relationship and then the spice is **chefs kiss**. The build up in the relationships with each man is fantastic and the author really develops each relationship separately, which I really prefer. As far as who else will be in her harm, who the heck knows? I’m really looking forward to that in the next installment in this series. Also I have my fingers crossed for a little MM action between Torr and Santos. I thought it was going to happen in this book and was kind of bummed that it didn’t. Also, I will say that I was a little let down by Rori in book one, she was a little whiny and not the strong FMC that I gravitate towards, but she is on the way to redeeming herself after this book. She is showing herself as a strong leader, yet she doesn’t just barrel into situations, which is refreshing.

Crystal has created an amazing world that began with the Steel Demons series and I love that we now see the children all grown up. As always, book two should move the plot along and keep you invested in the story, and that for sure happened. I cannot wait for book three to have all the loose ends wrapped up and to hopefully see everyone get their happy ending!

The second part of Vengeful Gods MC begins right where Faithless ends. Aurora is on a mission – to save her men. The captors have not seen the last of her but she will definitely make sure, she is THE ABSOLUTE LAST ENCOUNTER they ever have.

Aurora is impatient but not impulsive. Her focus on saving her men gets us to see her love for them multiple times. There are also a lot of appearances from the Celtic gods in the book and I loved Tezca the most of all. The black Jaguar is definitely someone you want on your side.

The book is set in a dystopian world and taking to the genre, is full of dark themes and situations but the author’s writing style makes the story very smooth so, I as a reader ended up reading the book in record time as the jar of certain developments was downplayed. I haven’t decided whether it is a good or bad aspect.

I liked the varying speed of romance in the book. I love that the relationship that Aurora develops with one of her men is different from the other man because the past of the characters matters. We don’t see jumps from one level to another but rather a preferable build-up to the emotional connection between Aurora and her men.

The climax of Harmless was chilling. The last line of the book ends with “…scream.”

What’s next for Aurora as she handles the multiple developments she was not ready for…

Happy Reading!

Every time I dive back into this world I am held captive from moment one. In her Steel Demons and now Vengeful Gods series, Crystal has created a captivating dystopian world with each book bringing new and unexpected elements with lots of twists and turns. When reading a second generation series you can’t help but compare everyone to the original characters, and while Rori has very big shoes to fill, I feel just as strongly connected to her as I do her parents, who feature in Crystal’s Steel Demons series.

Harmless, book 2 in the series, gives us even more action, suspense and twists than book 1. Badass and fierce, yet also vulnerable at times, I am really loving the layers to Rori’s character. In book 2 there is more character development and growth between Rori and her love interests as the spice really heats up. It’s not yet entirely clear who Rori will end up with and I’m looking forward to more relationship progression with the other characters in the next book.

There is good plot progression in this book as we are given some answers but also more questions arise and I am eager to see how things play out in the next book. If you are a Steel Demons reader and haven’t yet picked up this series, don’t wait any longer. I live for the original character cameos and can’t wait to see how might join the mission in book 3!

As always, Crystal delivers a five star read. I couldn't put this book down and she left me wanting more.

I am loving this series. I enjoyed getting to know Rori's character more and seeing the bits of her parents that shine through her personality. It's so fun to read her POV and think, "she sounds like Mari" or "that's definitely (insert dad's name)."

I also liked that we got to know Santos and Tor a little bit better. Their dynamic as friends as well as their relationship with Rori is fabulous. (Plus they're both swoony.)

I'm having a hard time liking Devin. So far I just think he's an ass and he better pull it together if he's going to be one of Rori's men. And don't even get me started on Hudson. He's in the doghouse.

I may be a tiny bit bias, but Crystal's writing is phenomenal. The pacing, setup, and descriptions are utter perfection. She's a master at the steamy scenes too. There's some possible foreshadowing that has me worried she's going to rip me apart with this series. (But I love her work so I'll trust her and keep reading.)

I honestly can't wait to read the next book in the series. Before reading this book, I do suggest you check for any trigger warnings or content that you might find disturbing.

Note: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Can’t Wait For The Next Book!!!

Review

This was an absolutely fantastic addition to the Vengeful Gods MC series!! Phenomenally written as always, Crystal knows how to write an amazing MC story. Full of action, suspense, steam and perfect characters.

We pick up right where we left off in book one and it’s an intense ride and time is not on our side. Rori must race to gather a force to reckon with in order to rescue her men and shut down the resort. Torr and Santos become friends and get even closer to Rori, Devin warms up a little bit more to her, and we get a bit more of Hudson’s story. This installment in series we are given so much insight into the guys, the Sisterhood of crazy ladies, and we get to see The Vengeful Gods MC form.

This is definitely a must read. It’s has so much going on, it’s fast paced, full of action, steamy moments, talking gods/goddesses and so much more. It does end on a tense cliffy and I’m seriously looking forward to the next book and seeing how things progress for Rori, Devin and Hudson, and of course look forward to more of Torr and Santos and the entire MC. This is a definite highly recommended series!!

The first 1/2 of the book I hated Rori. She’s SO whiny. The part in chapter 6 where she gets in an argument with a literal god. Ugh I wanted to strangle her. “Just give me an answer Wah Wah”. Girl. Grow a pair. Her anxiety is next level.

The trigger warnings are bullshit.

Hudson’s story is SO FUCKED UP. I can’t even. Like. Fuckkkk. Fuck. Spoiler alert but I don’t give a fuck. He fathered 10 DAUGHTERS. TEN. who knows how many fucking boys he fathered. But they only told him about TEN. against his will. That is so fucked up. You talk about gender roles and how if a woman gets pregnant from rape. This. Guy. Was. Raped. Daily. Jesus fucking Christ. How this made it to print I will never understand. This has nothing to do with the story line and should not be talked about so casually. It’s disgusting.

Santos was raped. Devin was raped. For years. The Sisterhood used Shadow as a blood bag. The author could have used so many other options of how to traumatize these men. But she chose rape and forced breeding. It was so disgusting.

This is petty but I seriously don’t understand the name Devin. There are literally 3 characters named Devin in this book. WHY?! Uncle Devin, twin Devin and gladiator Devin. WHY! No other names could have been chosen?

Harmless, book 2 Vengeful Gods MC series by Crystal Ash is an absolute yes for me. Just made me love Rory more too. Love me a beautiful, foul mouth, leather clad FMC who has no idea what she’s doing but damnit she’s gonna do it anyway. I can totally relate to Rory because I too often find myself yelling “What the f*** is going on!?” at the bird that lives on my roof. Santos and Torr-SWOOON- are so supportive and just amazing. Rory, Torr, and Santo’s’ progressing relationship made my heart warm and fuzzy the entire book. I can’t wait to see the harem grow, Devin and Hudson looking at you. Rori is still a badass- destroying resorts, freeing others from the psycho women compound, and building her own MC. Gunfighs, rescue missions, funny, witty banter, has a few scenes where I needed a hug after-check TW- and new favorite sexy scene with a motorcycle and well placed seating. Can’t wait for the finale-pretty pretty please let the sister’s of Bathory’s demise be bloody and so sadistically satisfying.

Harmless by Crystal Ash is the second in the Vengeful Gods MC Series. This picks up right where book one left off. Torr is being held in the cell with Santos. They are waiting for Rori to come and save the day. I love the faith Torr has in Rori and how he makes sure Santos does too. There is so much going on. Rori is getting ready to break her guys out and destroy the resort. The guys are working on staying alive. I loved seeing Rori as a strong, smart, respected FMC who kicks major a$$. I also loved the guys being willing to follow her lead. Rori's family is amazing. I, of course, have read their stories and loved them all and was happy to see them again. The baddies are a group of people we've known about for a long time. They were first introduced in the Steel Demons MC series - Shadow was always a fav of mine. It's fitting that it'll (hopefully) be Shadow and Grudge's daughter's that brings them down. Loved it. Looking forward to the finale in this series.

I am so in love with these characters, Crystal's writing, and the gritty world she has these poor characters live through.

Rori is perfectly badass, and man oh man has the author figured out the perfect RH configuration! We have the supportive-but-never-bs's-her best friend, the absolute teddybear sweetheart that is my favorite, Santos... and two others who are potentials. One who is absolutely broken, and the other is incredibly stubborn and pushes all Rori's buttons—and she his.

I'm a little brokenhearted to only get three books with these characters, I guess I was expecting 4-5 after the Steel Demon's 9 books, 3 feels much too rushed to try to be a good sequel story for it.

I mean, it's an amazing story, of course, but I would be surprised to see one book wrap up what's begun with these first two books. Here's to hoping it turns into two more books anyway!

But hey, at least this series is almost finished for the bingers out there!

Harmless was everything I needed after the events of the first book. It picks up pretty much immediately, Rori is not giving Torr up for anything! She is such a badass FMC just what I expected from Mariposa’s daughter. My heart melts for how much she loves her men and her parents! Even more so her relationship with Dadow 😭 He is NOT going to be happy when he finds out who Rori’s opponent is. Santos is growing on me even more! Telling Rori how he needs to be loved and her actually listening and trying for him was so delicious! Devin though, we’re a bit iffy on him. THAT ENDING?! I’m so heavily invested in what’s going to happen with Rori and her men. Maybe Torr and Santos? Maybe Devin figures out he wants Rori too? I understand where Hudson’s place is but I am not his fan. I understand why he is the way he is and I am hoping he can either redeem himself or at the least get’s a chance to heal. 5 ⭐️s!!!

I do love this extended dystopian world Crystal has created that encompasses the Steel Demons MC, the Sons of Odin MC, and now her Vengeful Gods MC. It’s so fantastically unique, with great characters and heavy, dark and spicy plot-lines, you can’t help but become invested in.

Harmless is a ‘mid’ trilogy book - so I found myself in the midst of the action, picking up where Faithless ended, with Torr and Santos imprisoned at the creepy resort, and Rori cast out into the desert, to go it alone.

Rori, not a woman to be held down for long, quickly musters an army of allies to rescue her two lovers, as well as free those who have been enslaved. But she soon learns that the horror she witnessed at the resort is only the tip of the iceberg.

Harmless is fast paced, amazing world-building, chilling plot. I’m super excited for the concluding instalment - Deathless.

All of her fathers('s) daughter.

Harmless opens right where Faithless ended, Torrance and Santos held as captives, and Rori in need of a plan to get them back. And that's about as tame as this book gets.

Rori, with the help of her cousins and extended family network, gets a plan in place to free her men, and everyone else held at the resort. In the aftermath, information comes to light on just who is running the resort. It turns out to be an old enemy, one well known to her fathers.

The upcoming battle against this evil is going to take everything Rori has to give, including her men, and possibly her very soul.

New men, new plans, new MC, and new roles. Vengeful Gods MC is not her daddy's motorcycle club!

Always excellent!

As usual, the newest offering from Crystal is,as always, excellent!! Rori's journey with Torr and Santos continues from where the cliffhanger of the first book left us dangling by our nails. Tangling with a cult that we met in the Steel Demons MC series, they have to save the victims without harming those who are innocent and still come out alive and intact. We see that Rori is definitely NOT Harmless! Beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout and unable to put it down, this series is sure to become a favourite. I loved reading this story and highly recommend the series. Wicked cliffhanger, so be warned! LOL! Don't miss out on this series!

LOVED IT!

Crystal has me in a freaking chokehold with this world! I LOVED Steel Demons, fell in love with the characters and the world, and this second generation series may seriously be EVEN BETTER! Crystal does an AMAZING job with making this feel familiar, while also being completely unique and different. I love our FMC Rori, and how you see her parents in her but she's also her own complete person. I love that she knows what she wants and goes for it, she may add to her group slowly, but we still get ALL the 🔥 🥵 (Domme Rori is HOT). This book had me on the edge of my seat till the very end, and I cannot WAIT for book 3!

I loved the first book and loved the second even more. Rori is still a strong character who I adore. I love the relationships she continues to build with Torr and Santos… and maybe there’s a little beginning with someone else? Maybe? This book is almost non-stop and trust me when I say I didn’t want to put it down. It grabbed me from page one and never let go. There are some omg moments and the cliffy at the end had me going huh? This is a story that started building in the original Steel Demons MC about Rori’s parents, and I’m glad to see it being dealt with. Even if it’s even more INSANE now. It’s such a good story and I can’t wait to see how it all gets wrapped up.

Wow, this series keeps getting better and better, and what a wild rides it's been so far. This book picks up right after the first. Rory fights hard to rescue the guys she's falling for and manages to get some answers along the way. Rory is thrown into a new role and takes charge of the situation with all the ex- gladiators and everyone else wanting to be there. The true evil is then discovered and the vile things the cult is capable of comes to light, and another rescue mission is planned. I'm glad Santos and Devin are reunited with their lost companion but am curious how the future will play out. And what's with that cliffhanger!?!? Can't wait for the next book!

I honestly love this universe so much and getting to see the second generation is just fantastic.

Harmless starts off immediately after the cliffhanger of book 1. Rori and Torr are captured with the promise of Rori freeing them all. We find out who is responsible for the arena and it becomes Rori’s mission to bring them down.

Rori’s character development is developing more. She’s strong, fierce, and becoming quite the bada$$. I’m enjoying the developing relationships between Torr, Rori, and Santos. I’m also intrigued on who else might join Rori’s harem…

Harmless is more action, suspense, and twists to keep you hooked. The spice gets spicer and can’t wait to see more relationship progression. Looking forward to more Rori and bada$$ory.

Harmless by Crystal Ash is Book 2 of the Vengeful Gods MC. Crystal is an awesome author. Her world and character development are awesome. The story line pulls you in and keeps you turning pages to the end. Rori is a strong and capable individual and has come into her leadership. She is loyal and compassionate. Her relationship with Torr & Santos has deepened and her men are not all in place (need to know more about Devin & Hudson). Being raised in the MC world, Rori is well aware what is needed in a leader. This is a fabulous series and one not to be missed. All of Crystal's books/series are not to be missed. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

Coming down off that exhilarating ride. It was like that from start to finish.

Rori is definitely the daughter of Steel Demons and a born leader like her dad Reaper. Even when the guys she loves are in danger, she still takes the time to think things through. But once the guys and the others are rescued, there is another problem that will test her and the Venegful Gods.

This book just sucked me and it made me so happy as Rori built on her relationships with Torr and Santos. You can feel the heat in each of their interactions. It’s billed as an RH and I have a feeling about at least one who’ll be added but the others are up in the air. And believe me I’m dumbfounded as to who because the animal gods are being as usual ambiguous. That ending and the addition of a new character has me pumped for the final book and things will come full circle.

Based on my interest in secondary characters, I’m hoping this book universe will continue with them at some point - **hint Carter**.

This series has me in a chokehold that I don't even want to break out of. In Harmless the action is fast paced as Rori works to take down the coliseum that is holding both Torr, Santos, and many others hostage. The action only continues as Rori is put to the test when she must go against the main hub of the Sisters of Bathory in order to save a traumatized friend of those she loves. The ending left me incredibly anxious for Deathless to be released. I can't wait to see how Rori's journey will come to an end!

Talk about action from start to finish, wow!
I absolutely, loved the first series, but now in this new generation with Rori, I am absolutely loving how Crystal Ash is bringing about the harem for Rori. This story takes right off after the last one and is seamless in the storytelling. There is action and drama and of course the steamier bedroom scenes. This series is proving to be as exciting as the Steel Demons MC series, I highly recommend reading them all.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

Blown away

I have read just about every Crystal/Sophie Ash book so far, and I am wrecked by this epilogue. The book itself was devoured in 1 day, and now I have to wait almost 6 months for the conclusion..AAAHHH. Because Shadow is my book boyfriend (no matter what else I read, I compate all others to him, and they all come up lacking), I feel like Rori is family. I love this next generation and hope I can hold on until December 31.

Seriously, do yourself a favor and get this series and all her others as well. You won't regret it!

Crystal Ash will always be a 1 click author for me!!

Harmless is book #2 in the Vengeful Gods MC series. It's a dystopian, MC, why choose romance.

I wish I could stay in this world for forever!!!

We pick up where we left off with Rori and her guys and a ride Crystal takes us on!!! We get to see Roris relationships grow and change and I just adore all of her guys so much.

We get all the action and all the spice we always get from Crystal and I am so hooked on this story, i can't wait for more!!!

Go read this series! Shoot, just go read all of Crystals books!

Book two and we jump right on in! Picking up from where we left off, we literally hit the ground running as our kick ass female mc Rori gathers reinforcements to try and save her guys! It’s an incredible second book, engrossing, exciting and filled with twists and turns and surprises that had me gripping the edge of my seat. It’s turning out to be an amazing spin off series that grabs you tight and does not let go and I am anxious for the next book.

Such wonderful characters and a gripping story that will keep you on the edge of your seat! I can’t wait for the finale in the next book. The Sisters of Bathory are going to be sorry they ever met the daughters of Shadow & Grudge!! I’m totally invested in the deepening relationships between Rori and Torr and Santos and I’m looking forward to learning more about Devin and Hudson too. I highly recommend all of Crystal Ash’s books!

Harmless picks up where Faithless ended with Torr in the dungeon with Santos and Rori trying to figure out how to save him and the rest of the gladiators being held and forced to fight. A lot happens in this book and I'm on pins and needles about what's to come. They rescue and old friend of Santos and Devin that reminds me so much of Shadow. Maybe someday they can meet. Great entry in the series and can't wait to see what happens. Based on that epilogue it ain't going to be pretty!
