On the lush green island of Corfu, Melodie’s new husband, Anton, is missing. With no clues to his whereabouts, Melodie and her step daughter Gaia are broken from the fear that they may never see him again. When Anton’s car is found by the side of the road, Gaia fixates on the idea that Melodie’s malicious half-sister is somehow involved.
Will Melodie ever find out what has happened to Anton, the love of her life? Can Melodie accept the final piece of her lost past when she is faced with so much confusion? Can she get back her life in Corfu, or will she have to give up on chasing dreams and return to England?
It's time to return to Corfu in the third book in the Little Blue Door series. Read Chasing Greek Dreams now to find out the final part of Melodie's story.

Chasing Greek Dreams is the third book in the Little Blue Door series by Francesca Catlow and whisks us back to the Greek Island of Corfu. Book two left us on a cliff hanger and this book takes off straight from where book two left us. I won't say too much as I don't want to spoil it for anyone but this one sure had me as anxious and worried as Melodie! Francesca has a beautiful way of making you feel not only what the characters feel but bringing the scenery to life around you too. Being a fan of the beautiful island of Corfu and the wonderful people who live there I just had to read these books and I'm so glad I did. Melodie and her new found family have more to face in this book, both good and bad and I was really satisfied with the ending and thought it was ender gracefully and tenderly. I'm not sure if there will be a fourth book (praying there will be -please!!!) from how this book ended but there is potential for there to be in the future. I highly recommend this series and to be read in order too - you won't be disappointed. Likeable characters, beautiful scenery, hot men and lots of drama, fun and more is to be found within this beautiful and heartwarming series.
Oh this beautiful cover and the colours. I just love it! Thank you SO much to Francesca for sending me this to read!
The third book in the series, behind the olive trees finished on a real cliff hanger so I was eager for the next book, chasing Greek dreams, so I could find out what happened!
I found myself to keep turning the pages desperate to know what happened to Anton and also felt heartbreak for Melodie along the way. She’s trying so hard to keep everything together and support her step daughter Gaia.
It was definitely a rollercoaster of a read. I’ve loved this book series and felt emotionally invested in the characters, loved the beautiful scenery and the escapism.
I love books set in Greece and this series is no exception. The characters are skilfully drawn, the story well-plotted and the magic of Greece is there in the descriptions of the scenery and the food.
This is the last book in this series and perhaps the most moving as Melodie's story draws to a close. The disappearance of Anton and the possible involvement of Melodie's half-sister keeps the reader guessing until the end.
Thoroughly enjoyable series for lovers of Greece who enjoy a bit of mystery.
Chasing Greek Dreams is the third and sadly the final installment in the Little Blue Door series.
The story continues seamlessly from book two, immediately transporting you back to the beautiful Greek Island of Corfu, where we reunite with our main protagonist Melodie.
I've been emotionally invested in the series and its characters from the beginning, so it was like revisiting old friends, although this time one of them was missing!
We've been on such an amazing journey with Melodie and I didn't want it to end.
Beautiful scenery, handsome men, sunshine and sea...what more could you ask for?
A thoroughly enjoyable finale to what's been an exciting journey.
Many thanks to the author for my gifted copy in return for my honest review.
I have truly loved this series. From start to finish with its fantastic descriptions that put you right in the middle of the action. To the relatable characters.
I love Melodie and how she is always trying to do what’s right and keep her family and loved ones safe. This was a harrowing book in terms of her and Anton and I have waited with bated breath after the last one to know what happens.
Throughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this series to anyone looking for a thrilling ride.
What a rollercoaster! I loved The Little Blue Door and Behind The Olive Trees and couldn’t wait for the third book in the series. It was worth the wait but my goodness did it have tension and emotion in spades. I absolutely adored this whole series and loved being taken back to Corfu by this brilliant author.
Chasing Greek Dreams is book 3 in the blue door series. This is my first read of the series and it is excellent as a stand alone, however leaves you wanting to go back to find out more about events prior.
This book has many layers - it opens with the main character Melodie (Love this name!) finding out her husband has gone missing and right away she knows there's something not right. He was on the way to buy a pregnancy test for her when he didn't come back. The story follows her struggle with not knowing what happened and wondering if a former family member, a horrible, evil half sister had anything to do with her husband's dissapearance.
I really enjoyed this book for a few reasons. * - The Greek aspects, especially the Easter scenes - this was both entertaining and educational on antoher cultures traditions during a well known holiday. * - The family dynamics. I love a large family and their relationships and banter were endearing without being unrealisitc or cheesy which I think is a hard thing to potray in writing. * - The underlying story lines of hidden secrets and family history with links to the Island of Corfu *- The total Bear Grylls moment - IFKYK!
I've already downloaded book 1 and i'm going to dive into the rest of the series as this was a fab read!
Now avaiable on KU too!
Thank you to Random Things Tours for my copy of this book for a chance to review.
This is the third book in the series, but as I hadn't read the previous ones, I found that this book really worked as a stand alone. I felt like I knew all of the characters, as enough background was provided on them and I quickly became engrossed in the storyline. Within the first half of the book and amidst the search for Anton, I couldn't help but keep turning the pages and the book felt like so much of a thriller. The emotions within the book were such a roller coaster and I really felt like I went on that journey with them. The setting of the book was so idyllic and has really made me want to go to Greece. I could picture the white buildings, the flowers and the views of the sea and it was such a lovely setting for the story. The book ended in a way that another book could be written and I would look forward to reading this and finding out what happens next for Melodie and Anton.
The cover of this book is absolutely stunning, I love all the purple and it made me feel like I am going to be whisked away somewhere hot and beautiful. The story is set in Corfu, somewhere where I have always wanted to go and now after reading this book I definitely need to go. Melodie's husband is missing, but no one knows where he has gone, can Melodie track down her new husband before it is too late? I loved how relaxing and at ease I felt reading this book, the story is a slow burner but in a good way. This is book three in the Little Blue Door series, I have read it as a standlone but personally wished I had read the two books before to get more of a back story. I loved escaping with this book.
I’ve loved this trilogy so much I really didn’t want it to end. But on the other hand I really needed to know what happened after the cliffhanger book two left us on!
I love the setting of these books, I’ve never been to Corfu or Greece but this book makes me want to visit. I can totally visualise it while I’m reading it.
I really like all the characters and I’m going to miss them. The author writes such well developed characters and the books are beautifully written.
As a lover of thrillers I do like the face that these books have a thriller touch it just makes me even more immersed in the story.
Thank you to Random Things Tours, the publisher and author for having me on the tour and for my gifted copy of the book.
An enjoyable continuous to the series. We continue from the end of the last book, with Anton missing and Melodie and Gaia desperate to find him.
Even though it'd been a while since I read the last book I very quickly got back into the swing of things. It's like being back with old friends. Despite less than ideal circumstances it was great having Anton's family back, and I found the POV change very effective.
Anton's pov was written so well in character, and I loved the descriptions of the Corfu "bush"- some really beautiful lines in there.
Absolutely loved the drama and resolution to it, as well as the introduction of Theodora.
Yes, I did pick this book up at the library because of the cover! I didn't realise that this was part of a series, but it would definitely work as a standalone. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat wondering what had happened to Anton. I loved following the story of Melodie, trying to find her husband. I could feel hers and Gaia's stress during that time. When Anton was finally found, it felt like such a relief for the whole family. The book ended perfectly
I hadn’t realized that Behind the Blue Door was a series until the end. So intrigued I had to keep going-through book 2 and naturally to book 3. The way Behind the Olive Trees ended, I immediately snatched up Chasing Greek Dreams! Thankfully I’m on vacation and read straight through them both. Obviously it’s the kind of story that you can’t put down!
This is the third book in the Little Blue Door series. The ending of book 2 was so troubling I had to start book 3 immediately. Thankfully this one pulled all the family ties together. Even with new secrets to unravel this book was the crown of the trilogy with a happy ending for Melodie. I am almost ready to book my flight to Corfu!
Wow! Loved it, Melodie’s life is never simple. The stress of looking for Anton then another family member turns up or is she family? no wonder Melodie feels she can’t cope. What a wonderful series, highly recommend everyone to read!
I loved this last book of the trilogy even if the start was a bit slow. This book built and built in Anton and Melodies love and had a beautiful ending. Glad there is a novella for me to continue this series.
I was lucky enough to discover Francesca and her books through a tour with Random Things for her first book The Little Blue Door a couple of years ago now. In that time I’ve also been lucky enough to read her other books and become an ARC reader for her. This post is dedicated to the 3rd book in Melodie’s series which I read in a little over 24 hours.
If you’ve not read the second book, Behind the Olive Trees then you won’t know but it ends on a bit of a cliff hanger - no spoilers but if you want to know then get reading 😉 - this is where we start this book.
Because of the nature of this the first half is quite emotional and it amazed me how Catlow managed to express these feelings into Melodie and out onto the page, you really do feel for her and just want to do whatever you can to help - especially with the police’s attitude - that frustrated me no end! As we have a change in POV the drama took on another level and the book pace just flew, I couldn’t put the book down from this point on.
This was a really amazingly written story with loads of emotion, heart warming scenes and an extra bit of spice that I wasn’t quite expecting! I’m eager to get straight into book 4 after it landed in my inbox at the weekend just to see where we go next as I’m sure there’s much more to enjoy!!
I read this while I was in Corfu, so it was neat being in the setting of the book. She nailed the food descriptions! However, the plot fell flat for me.
This is the third book in this very enjoyable series. Melodie's husband, Anton went missing at the end of book 2. This book is about the search for him, and what happened to him.
Good to find out what happened to Anton but nothing much else happens. Just tiring up the loose ends. Love all the descriptions of a part of Greece I know a little bit and love.
I just love the imagery in Francesca's warm writing. I feel like I am a part of Melody's family. The scenic backdrop of Corfu is a bonus. Keep on writing.
Don't get me wrong I love Fran, but she left me on a cliff hanger! RUDE! I was so eager to get this continuation of our sweet Melodie and Anton. It's a different view in this book seeing these characters go thru a very hard time! They are so broken and worried and this was so different then the normal! And when you think the book is going to go one way Fran always flips it around! I've just really loved this Journey with these characters, I don't want it to end!
All of these books are in Kindle Unlimited and when you read them they make you feel like you are vacationing in Greece so check them out!!
I give Chasing Greek Dreams by Francesca Catlow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have really enjoyed this trilogy and this final instalment did not disappoint. Melodie is searching for Anton, her new husband, who disappeared at the end of the last book. Such a cliffhanger to leave the book on!
There are so many emotions in this book, ups and downs, revelations and secrets. The characters are all written so well, you feel like part of the family and that they are your friends. I loved the descriptions of the local area too, makes you feel like you’re there.
I read this in a day, page after page devoured to find out what had happened, will Melodie and Gaia be reunited with Anton and have their happy little family back together? Thank you @francescacatlowofficial for this amazing trilogy that has been an absolute pleasure to read.
As much as I didn’t want this series to come to an end, I have been dying to know what happened after that dramatic cliffhanger.
As usual, the author’s beautiful writing sweeps you along, the setting is breathtaking and you can completely visualise it.
The characters are so well written, I feel that I’m loosing a group of friends, hopefully at some point in the future we will return to Melodie and her family.
One thing I loved about this book, was the thriller edge to it, we need more thriller reads from the author! I can already see her writing some dark messed up reads, which we all love.
