Frank and honest, this book establishes some normalcy around the impact of motherhood on a woman's body, mind and relationship. The author, Clio Wood shares her own story of birth and how this impacted her both physically and mentally, and her journey to overcome a whole host of issues in way that is useful, reassuring and uplifting. As a new, and not as new, mother there is a huge silence around postpartum sex, sexuality and relationships and this book opens up this conversation, acknowledges the lack of guidance and seeks to fill the gap. The range of advice and support resources provided at each step along the postpartum journey was wonderful and varied - there really will be something in this book for everyone! Personally, I found it very helpful so thank you Clio!

An excellent blend of insight based on research, personal experience and contributions from people in the postnatal/sex-positive space. Written in a tone that is inclusive and accessible- a bit like having a talk with a knowledgeable friend.

I struggled to read this book, it was split up into lots of bits and seemed to take a long time to give any helpful advice
