Urcelia Teixeira is an award-winning author of gripping Christian Mystery Thrillers.
You will enjoy her books if you like twisty mysteries tinged with clean action, page-turning suspense, and deep-rooted biblical truths. All her books are free from profanity and unnecessary sexually suggestive scenes.
She made her writing debut in December 2017, kicking off her newly discovered author journey with her fast-paced archaeological adventure thriller novels that readers have described as ‘Indiana Jones meets Lara Croft with a twist of Bourne.’
But, five novels in, and nearly eighteen months later, she had a spiritual awakening, and she wrote the sixth and final book in her Alex Hunt Adventure Thriller series. She now fondly refers to The Caiaphas Code as her redemption book, her statement of faith.
And although this series has reached multiple Amazon Bestseller lists, she took the bold step of following her true calling and switched to writing what naturally flows from her heart and soul: Christian Suspense.
A committed Christian for nearly twenty years, she now lives by the following mantra:
“I used to be just a writer. Now, I am a writer with a purpose!”

I like this book the best of all of the Adam Cross books. It's easy to read with no slang in it. I would recommend this book and all the book series to everyone. I would give it a five-star rating. It's a mystery suspense book good to all Christians.

Urcelia's books are addictive. This book is a page turner. An innocent man escapes a killer but becomes a suspect. Adam Cross rescues him from the storm. On learning more about the survivor who is a suspect in a murder, Adam wonders whether he is harbouring a fugitive. However, his faith in God is unshakeable and he feels that he is called upon to be there for the man. The book is fast paced with a lot of twists and Adam stares death in the face in his quest for justice.
The book is so interesting that it’s imposible to put down. From the first to the last page I was absorbed by it I highly recommend this book, like all the books written by this author
Thieves, Murderers a Category One Hurricane and Pigeons....... This book will just grab you from the start and won't let go. You're in for quite a ride. The best in this series so far. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it.

By far the best book in the Adam Cross series! Once again, the author, using here mastery of intrigue, has given us a story full of twists and turns. Rich well developed characters and a fast-moving story line leaves you breathless and at the edge of your seat. I couldn’t put it down. This thriller grabs you from the first page and doesn’t give you a moments rest until the last page.
Thank you to the author who provided me with a copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Thank you Urcelia for the opportunity of reading this book as an ARC.
Another well written Christian story by Urcelia and pleasantly surprised again.
Plenty of twists, turns, questions and all round mystery to be solved, which takes you right to the very last page and keeps you intrigued and spellbound.
Shame it's the last in the series, as I enjoy reading about Adam and his Turtle Cove friends.
Fantastic story! A fast-paced clean Christian mystery that takes the reader on a journey of military history and some shocking issues that exist in our world today. Every day the average person is faced with hundreds of choices to make. Many of them are mundane and have little to no consequences. Sometimes, though, a choice made can change the course of our lives in ways we never imagined. An incredible journey! Loved it! I received this book as part of the author's advanced reader team and am leaving my honest review.
eponymous sentence: p162: All that truly mattered was that he continued to walk in faith, studied the Word, and let God guide his path, so that it may equip him for every good work the Almighty chose to lay before him.
The premise was interesting. It wasn't the best execution, but it wasn't so bad either.
This is Christian narrative written without profanity, sexual scenes or any offensive dialogue. It has mystery, intriguing characters and an original plot that keeps you guessing - what do the numbers in that little book mean? Entertaining, engrossing and Highly Recommended.
Action Packed from cover to cover. This is a clean uplifting read. It was also a very interesting read. It held my attention from the beginning to the end. I really liked this book.
Urcelia Teixeira has long been one of my favorite authors. Every Good Work, (Adam Cross Suspense Book 3) is an excellent showcase of her talents. I have thoroughly and immensely enjoyed the entire Alex Hunt and now the Adam Cross series!
This is a fast paced murder mystery filled with suspense and sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s an intense, captivating story by all accounts.
Adam cross as a pastor, a good man and a good human being and one with a knack for solving mystery and crimes. He is a man who has lived through and survived horrific tragedy. He has struggled with his faith, even who he is and his relationship with God. And through it all he seeks God, surrendering himself to God’s plan and will.
I love how the author give credence to the character, how she created this man who is both believable and real. I was held spellbound by the story and enjoyed how the author makes you feel as if you’re right there in midst of it all. An amazing series, a blood pumping mystery and an opportunity to see God’s plan in action. Brilliantly executed and beautifully written suspense and mystery.
Thank you so much Ms. Teixeira for this series in the fascinating tail of this man’s journey.
• The opening scene was an attention getter! My attention was captured and it did not wane throughout the whole story.
• I liked the theme the author used of putting your trust in the Lord for He has a plan and a work for each of us to do. It was wonderfully presented.
• The characters of this story were well developed and interesting.
• I enjoyed this Christian suspense immensely. The author caught my attention immediately with Patrick's plight. I enjoyed the intrigue that was present from the beginning until the end.
• I liked that Adam had a very unique and necessary skill set that was needed to help solve this murder mystery. He used the Lord as an integral part of his skills for guidance and direction.
I was given an advance copy of this book. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own. I highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy Christian suspense.
I live her books and the action never stops. Pastor Adam seeks to help a refugee from the storm. He knows he is a good man, but the He finds out that he’s accused of murder. Adam just can’t believe he was so wrong about a man. He knew he had to work yet to the bottom of the case. This case involves homing pigeons. It explains many things you did not know about pigeons.
When the first few pages has you bolted to the edge of your seat you know it’s a great book. As always Ms. Teixeira had me hooked. Adam Cross and the challenges he has faced gives such credence to his faith in God! You really need to read this series. Adam Cross Suspense series
There's a storm a brewing and it's not just in the weather. Right reasons can get anyone into trouble and it surely does. Adam Cross is caught in-between truths and half truths with revealing stories that twist you senses. This story is the best so far and it keeps you asking for more of this character and his search for the truths in man and himself. His guidance does not leave him but strengthens him. Read how a troubled beginning rides a rough storm and is calmed.
The 3 Adam Cross books were great. Lots of adventure, tense situations, and God encounters. Sadly, each book left hanging what happened to the characters of each adventure. Each book had specific main characters, but failed to say what happened to them. I would suggest a last chapter, or epilog to wrap things up. Definitely recommend the books.
I really got quickly involved in this story. My dad raised pigeons but I never knew that they could be trained for this kind of use. It was interesting and fast paced. I will continue to read more of Urcelias books.
I chose this book because I like Christian book that aren't always romance novels.🙂
I wanted to walk softly and carry a big stick for the twist and turns in this book.
Without spoiling it for those yet to come. It is a page turner and maybe talking to yourself. Especially, after - - -almost lost his life when they got caught by the blank. I love how they almost thought and loved the same way. Thank God for the listener, how good character can be received and recognized a good heart without a word. Loved the trilogy no one was ready for the sacrifices.
A suspenseful thrill from beginning to end. Once again , Urceila Teixeira, does not disappoint with a nice plot twist and plenty of action with an ending guided by faith. I could not put the book down. “Every Good Work” is a very good work of Christian literature.
Won’t reveal the plot points but some things were not believable, and gospel message was still presented in a fashion. Wish the ending had been less vague.
