My parents tell me I loved this one as a child, and it's a pretty big hit with my son. I think it does a great job of gently lampooning a child's ability to deep dive into an obsession and then pivot fast into the next obsession.
It makes me remember those days of being able to LIVE for my interest of the day. With school just being a fun sidebar, and full time staff (parents) to do all the cooking and cleaning. A little boy can devote a lot of time to a dinosaur obsession.
I absolutely loved this book as a child. Daniel loves dinosaurs and imagines them everywhere he goes. The illustrations are vibrant and interesting and the dinosaurs seem right at home with their imagined jobs (dinosaurs at the checkout!). I think any dino-crazy kids will love this book.
This book was read for Wesley’s summer reading club. Wesley is my (soon to be five year old) son. This review is what we used for his reading club. ***
This book was cute! Not sure if Wesley understood it completely, but he listened to it.

Was looking at this one as a possibility to read to my sister-in-law's preK class. They are doing a unit on dinosaurs, so I'm trying to find one I thought they'd like. This was only so-so.
