A good Beginners guide. The book is split into habitats, Parks/Gardens Farmland, Woods, Heaths, Water, Sea. It has large photos and a brief description of plants and animals found in these habitats with notes on how to identify, size and similar species.
It is not very extensive, but a good starting point.
