Every year I set myself a reading challenge, to try a genre that I have not been overly exposed to and this year I thought I would give the world of romance a go. So I brought a stack, probably 20 books from a op shop and thought it is time to give them a crack. So I went from Nora Roberts book set on cruise ship to another book set on a cruise ship. I had to check that this was not the same ship.
So anyone Paige, is accompanying her mother on a cruise ship in the hopes that her mother does not find another husband. The trouble is for Paige that Harrison Powell a private investigator, masquerading as a high flying financier is on board and thinks Paige's mother is a jewel thief. Trouble for Harrison is while he is meant to be wining and dining the mother he is more interested in the daughter. So the story goes along with he loves, he hates me, and finally he has me arrested because he know thinks I am the jewel thief. For Harrison he has to do this cos he is the good guy and besides the last time he fall for a woman she was guilty but tricked him.
Anyway the story gets resolved at the end and it all works out fine but I don't it certainly did not resonate.
