Roy Eugene Davis does a masterful job synthesizing the Gita into a simple and understandable presentation. This is quite a nieche commentary on Bhagavad Gita and you probably have your own very specific reasons for considering it. I shall just confirm here, yes, do it. It is brilliant and it contains exactly everything that you suspect it does.
