Brer Rabbit gets caught by Brer Fox. Brer Rabbit convinces the fox to through him into the blackberry bush that is very prickly and dark - and a place that Brer Rabbit was familiar with and knew that Brer Fox could not follow. This is a level 2 early reader and the puzzles at the end of the book assist learners to not only read the story but also to understand what they have just read.
