After reading The Color of Life I could not wait for the next book to be out."The Return" certainly did not disappoint. Dennis Vebert has a way of involving his reader in the story. I felt that I was sat next to Timothy and Donny listening to their stories. The narrative flowed, and there were no spots in the prose to slow the reader down. With his descriptive writing skills the author gave such a sense of place. The beautiful artwork, also by the author, only enhanced this sense. An excellent read, I would recommend this book.
