Veronica Butler is facing her 35th birthday alone so she decides to go out and celebrate. Having been alone for the past ten months since breaking up with her boyfriend, she’s determined to get laid. Wearing a slip dress that says “come f*ck me” all over it, she goes to a bar and immediately has several men vying for the chance to bed her.
Vicente Salazar is out with friends and he’s ready to go home when in walks a beautiful woman reeking of pheromones. As he watches her sit on a barstool and several men approach her, he realizes he recognizes her, and decides to join the party.
Veronica almost falls off her stool when Vicente walks up to her. Seeing her boss in front of her is more than a shock. But when he asks her to leave with him, she does. And when they’re in his limo and he exposes her so the chauffeur can watch, Veronica realizes there is more to her boss than she ever knew.
I loved this short story. An office romance is always a treat and Ms. Jay uses every office scenario available to put Veronica and Vicente into delightful positions. Full of humor, surprises and some of the hottest sex I’ve ever read, this book is a treat for the libido. This is another to put in your bedtime stories pile!

Hot sex scenes with both h and H into public sex, but a lot of times it felt like h was trying to coax distant H into falling for/opening upto her. Even in climax h goes after H, when the mess was indirectly H's fault. Also H was h's supervisor and slept with OW(also in the office) even after he knew h, he only really noticed h when she pulled a Cinderella makeover - which is a trope I hate:(
However the book was written well, readable and the background about the business and H being a Spanish immigrant trying to secure an American visa all added texture to the story. 2.5 stars.
