Basilea Schink klarer å gjøre med et få titalls sider det som mange sliter å bruke tykke bøker på. Det er en bok om bønn, som bl.a. tar for seg anfektelser og hvordan man bør be. I motsetning til bøker flest innenfor teologi - som ofte gir inntrykk av at de er skrevet for gode dager -, inneholder denne boken trøst i vonde dager.

The author appears to be a Catholic nun in London, but don't take my word for it.
She gives wonderful, simple insights about prayer. She discusses what obstacles we may allow to come in the way of our prayers, and how God may use times of dryness and difficulty for our growth. She Recommends a submissive attitude toward God, a childlike trust, and a passionate confidence. Most of all, prayer is about coming close to God's heart in love.
