1.5 stars. When a book is limited to discussing only a handful of colors, most of them pales/pastels, everything starts to get samesy after only a couple pages. This book has two things to say: 1) painting wall trim the same color throughout the house unifies the rooms, and 2) yellow is a brightening color. And it says it over, and over, and over again.
I bought this book 10 years ago when it came out, and still use it today. Half of my first home had colors from this book inside. Soft inspiring muted tones with excellent combinations. Very subtle but urging you to be inventive.
