I started this book awhile ago and have yet to finish it (I got about half way through, finished the chapter titled "taking the glory out of war and unlearning bigotry"). It is an interesting and vital cultural critique on violent male behavior and its sources in our damaged society. I really want to get back to this book although it does spend a lot of time and space elaborating on something which to me is nearly self-evident. However, if I were not the choir this preaching, somewhat repetitive but replete with solid research and multi-pronged argument might very well be necessary. I will re-evaluate my rating if and when I get back into this book.
