Basic Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation for Engineers

Rate this book
The first edition of this textbook appeared in 1977, and has proved popular with civil, chemical and mechanical engineering students requiring broad, basic coverage of electrical and electronic engineering. This new, updated edition should continue to appeal to students in these disciplines as well as first year electrical engineering undergraduates, and electronics and electrical engineering students studying for the new higher TEC certificate and diploma. The new edition contains the same overall coverage of basic principles, but the chapter on digital systems has been rewritten, and the chapters on microprocessors and electrical machines have been updated. Further worked examples and problems at the ends of chapters have been added. Wherever possible the emphasis is on practical applications.
