The Ginger Bread Man is a light and humorous novel about running away from the ovens of mediocrity and avoiding the foxes that seek to fool us. In this inspiring story, a man named Jacob runs away from his seemingly secure but faceless and unfulfilling office job. A wise and mysterious baker teaches him sixteen principles about making bread...and living life.

Dominic Villari is well versed in the art and science of making stuff up and is often caught talking to things, especially when they don't work right or are difficult to put together. These pursuits occasionally spill out onto paper in fiction such as the Ginger Bread Man and the soon to be released Talks to Things and children's books such as Don't Poke the Bear, You Have to Wear Pants and others that could be listed here except that this sentence is already too long. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and daughter, both of whom have gotten better about knowing when he's making stuff up.

The Gingerbread (Paperback) Man by Dominic Robert Villari- Children’s illustrated Colour Picture Book- The book narrates the story of an elderly couple who reside together in their house. The sad thing is that they do not have any children. Both have a complaint about how to spend their spare time. The wife loves baking during her free time and she decided to bake gingerbread. As soon as, she pulled the ginger bread out of the baking Owen, the gingerbread came to life and decided to hop on the window and run across to the street. The lady and her husband followed the gingerbread. The gingerbread man met a lot of animals- cow, cock, horse while he was wandering the street. In the end, she meets a fox who informs the gingerbread man that she is going to cross the water filled pond and she can carry the gingerbread man with him safely. The gingerbread man trusts the fox who eats him during the journey across the pond. This story is quite interesting because it is based on curiosity and imagination of the old lady. This kind of children's book is able to convey a message that our imagination is infinite. Your age doesn’t matter, if you have an extensive amount of imagination, everything is possible. The Gingerbread man is a great story to read and teach the Early Year Children. There are many lessons to learn from the Gingerbread man. Children learn about sequencing the story. The moral of the story is about trust. Children learn about the different animals and also learn about making decisions. To make learning more fun, children can even bake their own Gingerbread man. Children can learn about measures, recipes and making your own recipe book. Coloured illustrations help the reader in relating to the story.

The moral of the story is about trust. Children learn about the different animals and also learn about making decisions. To make learning more fun, children can even bake their own Gingerbread man. Children learn about measures, recipes and making your own recipe book.

This book is a classic I remember reading this as a child and have it being read to me as well. I believe this is a true classic. The illustration was very helpful. I would recommend this to children of all ages and that it is great to read over and over again it never gets old.

i like this book because it is fun it dose not have a lot of pages and not a little bit i like the ginger bread man it has a lot of information about whats happening. If you like the books with animals its this one .
