In "Until We Meet Again" by Anne Schraff its about a girl named Darcy Wills who lives with her sister, grandma, and mom and dad. She's happy now because she is moving into a new house and her parents are back together, until something happens. Her boyfriend Hakeem has to move to another place because his father has cancer and he needs to get a better job. To distract her from whats happening, she babysits for someone and meets Brian, who was kicked out of school for something he did. Brissana tries to warn her from getting close to Brian, but Darcy doesn't want to listen to her. After school Hakeem decides to separate from Darcy because he is moving away. Then she starts getting closer to him even more.

Then one day she lies to her parents' and goes with Brian but then, he kisses her and then becomes very agressive and Darcy doesn't like this, until his father comes in. After her father took her home he didn't trust her anymore and was very dissapointed with her and what she did. Then Darcy felt very very bad for what she did and for what had happened with her, and she didn't tell anyone about it, but she knew that her father would tell her mom. Then she decides that she wouldn't go back and babysit, but then at night herv grand ma dies and it upsets her alot. But then she sees Hakeem in her grandma's funeral and it makes her feel better that he is there.

My critique of this book is that I really enjoyed reading this book, because its on how a teenager decides what to do when her boyfriend leaves. I also enjoyed this book because it showed how Darcy lets go of her boyfriend, so that he can be with his father.I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars because this book was very interesting to read about.

I think so far it is a good book and it has grabbed my attention right now all that I wanna tell people about what i have read of this book is that these two girls just heard (after their father's 5 year absense) is that their mom and dad are deciding to give their marriage a second chance and they are moving into a diferent house but still going to the same school. But Darcy (one of the sisters) found out her boyfriend's dad had surgery and cant do his job as well as he used to but his brother is offering him a job in detroit if he takes it Hakeem (Darcy's boyfriend)and his family will have to leave. Will his father take the job?

Life can't always be perfect. It also doesn't go the way you want it to either. Darcy knows how that feels in the book Until We Meet Again by Anne Schraff. Darcy was expecting to spend the summer with her boy friend Hakeem and planned everything out. Darcy thought her life was beginning to get better with her dad back in her life she thought her life as a fairytale, nothing would go wrong. Until an unexpected plan happens that might break Darcy and Hakeem up for good. Then when someone new enters her life that makes her feel important again she doesn’t know where her and Hakeem stand. This leaves Darcy confused with her feelings. That summer changed Darcy’s life permanently and she made some major decisions that impacted her, some that she might regret.

I like this book allot because I thought it was really interesting and you could really get into this book, it's like a little movie playing in your head with all the voice and details it helped to bring the book to life, Anne Schraff created characters that I could easily imagine and each chapter was even more interesting to read as the story went along but without giving away the whole story at once, it kept you at the edge of your seat wanting to know what was going to happen next.

This book is like a tube slide, never knowing when the slide ends. This book takes you through a mix of emotions with one minute everything would be fine in Darcy's life and then tragedy would strike and the whole mood of the story changes but that's what made it so interesting. Things seemed to change alot in Darcy's life and it didn't go the way she wanted to. At the end Darcy seemed pretty happy with her life even thought she had made some mistakes in the past.

People who are looking for more of a fiction, action, fantasy, butt kicking, scary, or comedy etc. they might not like this because this book is more of a drama/romance book it's more of a real life book, it deals with real life things that happen to people. But I still recommend it for people not just because I think people could relate to this book but it's a good book to read for people who are looking to read for entertainment, it also has a meaningful message at the end.

I would read another book by this author. I enjoyed reading this book alot, it was full of suspenseful drama and I hope other readers try reading this book too.

This story made me cry. It is rare to invoke such intense emotions from a book alone.

Do you always wish to have a perfect life? Well in this book its about a girl has one of the worst couple weeks ever. The genre of this book is realistic fiction. in my this book is really sad because ***SPOILER ALERT*** her grandma dies and her grandma meaned a lot this this girl.

This story takes place in bluford high school where she was walking to her boyfriend. The major event in this story is when her boyfriend was moving somewhere far and the girl didn't want him to move but then his dad said they have to because they broke and he had lung cancer. The conflict of this story is person vs person because the girl didn't want his boyfriend to leave but his dad had to leave. The major theme of this book was when the girls grandma fell out of her bed and went to the hospital but then past away.

A major event that changed the character was when her grandma died because her grandma was always for her and her grandma kept the family together when her dad left. I was really confused at the end because there was some answers that need to be asked because like did the girl and his boyfriend ever seen again or is her boyfriend ever coming back or are they every gonna break up? I was angry how her boyfriend had to be so mean to the girl after the girl was so worried about him. i thought the ending of the book was gonna be really excited and peaceful not all sad and mad.

if i would of rate this book i would of give it 4/5 because there was alot of confusing in the middle and alot of quistions that needed to be answered. i would of recommend this book to the people who love drama and romantic. If you like easy and excited moments of book i would recommend you this book.

In this episode, Darcy experienced a bit of grief & loss between Hakeem's moving & her grandmother's health. Brian wasn't the shoulder she needed. It was comforting her father had returned. Good message

The settings in this book are at the park{ DElency Park to be exact}, at the beach, and also at Bluford Highschool. In this book, a lot of amusing, sad, and shocking events happened. The book started out when Darcy and her little sister Jamee found out that thier parents were going to get back together and start all over with thier life. When they found that out they also found out that they were going to move 3 blocks away from thier apartment. As the days went on everything seemed right and peaceful. Darcy had gotten a new job as a babysitter for one of her old friend sfrom middle school that got pregnant. Liselle was her name and her daughter's name was Kelena. Liselle MAson had a brother, Brian Mason. Liselle thought her brother was a player and she didn't want Darcy to fall for him. More and More days went on and it was 2 weeks until the last day of school. One day, Darcy had gotten ready to go to school. That same day Darcy found out that her boyfriend Hakeem Randall was going to move to Detriot with his uncle, since his father had cancer. When she found out she was devastated and very, very, very sad. Hakeem didn't really show any emotion and that pissed Darcy off. Throuhgt the days she was mad Brian was trying to get her to like him and like Liselle thought Darcy fell for him. One day Darcy had lied to her parents and told them that sh ewas going to babysit for Liselle, but what she had said was a lie. When she went over to meet with him he started to massage her neck and then soon they had began to make out. After that, it had gotten to far he tried to rape her. Then she had told him to stop but he didn't he kept on going. After several minutes ove trying to get away and screaming, finally her dather had busted in and popped BRian in the face and started yelling at him. Short after what had happened Darcy's grandmother pastaway.

Darcy Wills has many problems in her life for example her boyfriend Hakeem said he will be leaving to Detroit when the school year ends. Another problem is that her grandma is very sick and she looks very weak and tired all the time. Int he beginning Darcy's long gone dad comes home and the mom and dad turn out to give their relationship a second chance. They also turn out on moving to a better new house and that is just a few blocks away from her apartment. When Darcy gets to school she is so exited to tell Hakeem but then Hakeem tells her the news About his dad being sick and that his uncle offered him a job in Detroit and if his family left he'd have to go to. Darcy and Hakeem were not talking to each other for a while and Hakeem was not going to school for a while because he was usually with his dad in the hospital taking test because of his dads cancer. when Hakeem got to school he didn't talk to Darcy the only thing he said to her was if they can talk after school. Darcy was nervous about the talk. When she went to talk to him he told her that they need to break up before he leaves. Darcy got mad and told him why they had to break up and why they couldn't just write to each other. Then Darcy was hired by Liselle to babysit her daughter Kelena and she had a brother called Brian. Brian was falling in love with Darcy and they started hanging out more. One day Brian asked Darcy to come over and have dinner with him when she got there they were alone and they were quite until Brian started kissing Darcy in the neck and Darcy's dad beat up Brian. In the next morning her grandma was dead and when they had the funeral hakeem showed up from Detroit.

This installment of the Bluford series was the darkest in terms on content, yet. Sophomore Darcy is dealing with a lot -- a dying grandmother and we're continuing to follow her relationship with Hakeem, who she finds out will be moving from California to Detroit in a matter of weeks.

This content in book contains themes of grooming and sexual assault.

Again, what I continue to find refreshing about the YA reads is that these topics are put into the context of the mind of a 15 year old. The rationale. The reasoning. All things that while I was reading it with my 35 year old brain I could spot instantly as grooming and red flags, but honestly Darcy's actions and mistakes were right in character for a young teen who has a lot of vulnerability.

I finished the last book I read on her storyline a little upset with how they "resolved" things with Brisana, but I was happy to see it was a more realistic continuation of the story in this book. I also even felt empathy for Brisana in a way I never have before. I'm now open to hearing more of her story.

Tarah continues to be the standout for me. She is the friend you want. The friend with some sense who is fun to be around but is also going to tell you the truth. I love her and hope she has her own books in the series.

I'm continuing to jump around out of order but Darcy's universe in the series has a hold on me. She's like a little sister now.

Have you ever had high expectations over a time when you're supposed to have a good time, but then it turned into drama instead of fun? This story is about a High School girl, Darcy Wills, who thought her summer was going to be different. Spending time with her boyfriend Hakeem, having time with mom and the little sister Jamee. But things change. Her parents get back together after a terrible divorce that lead them to not seeing him for years! Another twist that happens is her boyfriend might have to move! :O Why? Because his dad is ill! I really enjoyed this book because there was drama within the Wills family and withtin the relationship of Darcy and Hakeem. The reason I kept reading was because of all the twists! There was many emotions flowing through me as I read each chapter. I think every teenage girl can relate to this story because of all the ups & downs. I would recommend this book for both girls AND guys (: I believe it was good sinse I, of all people, kept reading page after page.

What I thought of this book was that this book was very interesting and full of surprises with its ups and downs in its positives way and also negative ways. I really liked the surprises because it makes me foreshadow other things in the book or make predictions in each chapter therefore I get a better understanding of this book. This book is special because at times it can relate to me when I have hard times forgetting something that really hurt and yet still hard to move on from because life experiences.

This book is unique because I really felt like I can connect with and have in common with. I felt like this book shows the emotions that the author might of have felt if she went through the life experiences. This is unique because this shows me what her experiences were and how she tried to move on and how she tried to get help but didn't accept it because she was afraid of what the outcomes would turn out. This is a really good book.

This book is about a girl named Darcy that goes to Bluford High and she gets news that her boyfriend has to move to Detroit and she gets depressed then she meets a guy named Brian that everyone warns her about but of course she doesn't listen then one day she hangs out with him and kisses him and then he was really aggressive and then her dad found her and then he took her home and he was really upset with her then he told her mom and her mom was really upset then her grandma died and at the funeral her formal boyfriend Hakeem came back and they were all happy. I gave this book a 5 star rating because it was short and i like short books and it has a nice plot. I think girls would like this book because the story is about a girl.

i really love the Bluford High series, but i wasn't impressed with this story.usually there is a lot of action and twisting details.I didn't not find any of this in "Until we meet again". The whole story was mostly about how Darcy is depressed because Hakeem moved to Detroit, she met a new boy and feels guilty, and grandma isn't doing so well. The book revolves around her and i got tired of reading about her depression and sadness.

The book was very interesting because it can relate to any teen age girls that fall in love with the wrong guy. Many young girls fall for sweet words that guys tell them but at the end the guy always ends up hurting them.

A Young Adult novel, 7th in a series called Bluford High. I don't know where i got thus book, Probably a Scholastic book fair. I decided to read it, as it is the story of an urban, black family. I need more perspective from this demographic.

Even though this was a book in the middle of a series, the author made it so I could easily catch up with the characters. This particular book in the series was about the daughter, Darcy, who is in high school, a sophomore, who is quite naive. She has a fairly innocent relationship with a boyfriend, -no spoilers- but much of the plot revolves around an older guy who seems in a hurry to impress her.

A cautionary tale. I will look for other offerings in this series. My only complaint is the main character almost never uses contractions or colloquial speech, I guess we are to believe that is her way. Other characters do use contractions and colloquial speech.

The book Until We Meet again is the best book ever!!!In the book a boy named hakeem and his girlfriend went through a hard break up.This book talk about the breakup. This book also talks about how Darcy and Kelena are taking turns helping their grandma while she is sick.
What I particularly like about Until We meet Again is when Darcy and Kelena took turns helping their grandma while she was sick instead of making her suffer.Darcy did not think is was fair to just letting Kelena o it by herself
What i dislike about the book is Anne Schraff did not tell as much details about why Hakeem and his girlfriend broke up.
I recommend this book to whoever likes young adult books that have a little bit of action and who kinda likes drama.

In this book, it talks about how Darcy ended her sophomore year at Bluford High school. despite the fact that her parents marriage was not going very great, on that summer everything started amazing. her family was getting a new house, and her parents were thinking about giving their marriage another try. Everything was going phenomenal until her boyfriends Hakeem gave her some horrible news. The protagonist of the story is Darcy, she is very bright and doesn't have many friends. Also she has a younger sister Jamee wills. This books kind of gives you the message that circumstances comes, and you never know what tomorrow might bring. The book is kind of a mix of drama and romance at the same time.

Darcy is a high school student whos life just took a turn she didn't see coming. Her boyfriend has to move away because his father is sick and he needed a better job, her parents are working on their relationship after her father has been gone for years, her grandmother is Ill and she meets this new guy who isn't who she thought he was. She takes on this baby sitting gig and then meets Brian and she starts to feel him. When warned about who he is she doesn't listen and learns the hard way. Darcy lies about what she was doing and Brian gets aggressive with her when they were kissing. Thank goodness her father walked it. This is a really good series of books and I definitely recommend people to read it.

⭐️⭐️.5 Level headed Darcy from book 1 and 2 is back again but she’s definitely not as level headed as she was before. Somehow from the months in between Book 2 (A Matter of Trust) and this book, she’s lost that maturity to understand a situation that she doesn’t like about her that was so easy to agree with her decisions. In the book, she’s left complaining that Hakeem’s dad has cancer, that her dad is back, and that nothing seems to be going the way that she wants it to go. She makes so many questionable decisions that she definitely wouldn’t have made in Book 1 (Lost and Found) and Book 2 (A Matter of Trust). The well rounded character that Darcy used to be was lost in this story.

Darcy Willis was supposed to have an amazing summer, but things are jeopardized when her boyfriend might be taken away and she has to make life-changing decisions. Although Darcy had many problems throughout the book dealing with school and family, she showed that she cared deeply for her boyfriend. I loved how specific it was on her feelings and we were able to empathize with her. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a book that they can either relate to or a book with a lot of mystery and suspense.

Until we meet again by Anne Schraff about a girl who moved with her family in their new home and made some choices that she regretted after. The main character,Darcy Wills,is kind, impulsive and humble. The book takes place in California. The most important message from this book is to be always loyal and never trust someone that you don't know anything about! I like this book because it shows me that family and friendship is the most important and don't trust anyone!

This book was amazing, it's really hard to find good books like this sometimes and I am really enjoying the series. This was the best book in the Bluford High series yet! The main character, Darcy learns a lot of good lessons throughout the course of this book. By the end of the book I was even fighting back tears. I definitely recommend this book if you enjoy reading realistic fiction with serious topics involved.

I thought it was good and i liked it, it was very interesting in the middle of the story because that is when all characters came to play and that is when things started to turn throughout the book, when darcy found out her boyfriend moved things started to go downhill for her and then that is when things got more interesting for everyone who read the book.
