Recommend this book to everyone at any age. I learned a lot about her and the historical events going on when she lived. The author makes it very interesting to read about.

I got interested in Florence Nightingale after reading The Wonder. This is a good biography filled with details about the time and the person. Nightingale is quite a wonder herself. She is like the Da Vinci of nursing and sanitation and several other domains. Her life was a struggle and her accomplishments and projects astonishing. I'm going to read another biography to hopefully get more insight into her as a person.
