The sequel to Amber Allure’s Best Seller At Long Last...
Seven months into their relationship, Preston has yet to tell his parents he is gay and living with Scott. When they are invited to the wedding of Preston’s ex-wife, a wedding Preston’s parents will also attend, Scott hopes Preston will finally admit to their relationship. But Preston fears having the same strained relationship Scott has with his father, or worse, being disowned.
While Scott is beginning to believe Preston will always be ashamed of their love and will never come around to admitting the truth, Preston wonders if Scott will bolt if he doesn’t stick to Scott’s timetable.
Preston has a tough choice. Trust his parents with the truth or risk losing Scott forever...

There are a few authors that I think write consistently good books. In my opinion, Shawn Lane is one of those authors. I am always excited when a new book of hers comes out, because I know it’s going to give me a few hours of enjoyment every time.
After reading Sandy’s review, I don’t know how much more I can say about Until the End of Time, that she didn’t already eloquently write. I will say the one thing I loved about this book is that it felt real to me. Scott’s frustration over Preston’s refusal to tell others about them being together rang true to me. I understood why he felt like Preston’s dirty little secret, and why it was putting a wedge between them and their happiness together.
On the other hand, I also understood Preston’s point of view for not immediately telling other’s about his life with Scott. It was clear that although he loves Scott, and had every intention of telling other’s about them, his anxiety over losing his parents love and support caused him to delay the inevitable.
I really understood both sides. One moment, I felt Scott’s hurt and bitterness he had toward the situation, and the next I felt Preston’s fear of losing his parents, and even his fear of losing Scott because he hasn’t handled the situation as he should have.
One thing that was very apparent to me as I read Scott and Preston’s story was the deep love and affection they have for one another. Even though both characters are beautifully flawed, the love they share between them is perfect. I love this couple, and I am so glad they got the happy ending they deserved. I hated for their story to end, because I love them and love reading about their life together. But, thanks to Shawn, they got the happy ending that they deserve.

Also, Shawn’s blog is always interesting. She gives plenty of information on her upcoming releases, usually provides great eye candy to admire and she frequently has contests to win free EBooks from her.
I loved the conclusion of Scott and Preston's story. I hate that this will be the final book on this extraordinary couple, but all good things must come to an end! Damn!
Preston and Scott are living together now for more than half a year. While some things are going fabulously between them, some things are beginning to get in the way of their relationship – the fact that Preston is still keeping the reality that he is gay from his parents a secret is not sitting well with Scott.
When Preston is invited to his ex-wife’s wedding and his parent will no doubt be there, he is petrified, because unlike Scott who took the bull by the horn and told his parents about his sexuality at a young age and he his still dealing with that aftermath; Preston has a rock solid relationship with his parent and he is very reluctant to rock the boat, he will have to make a decision however as Scott wont wait forever for him to do it in his own good time.
UNTIL THE END OF TIME is the follow up to Shawn Lane’s wonderful read AT LONG LAST. Ms. Lanes takes us back to visit this couple during the getting to know you phase where Preston and Scott are still learning about each other and trying to be comfortable in their own skin.
Scott is being a trooper and is taking things in his stride even if he is not happy, I love him and his entire mannerism and attitude – the fact that he loves Preston so much that he is willing to accept any part of of him that he is willing to give only makes him more – just more.
Preston is no chopped liver either – he is more of a thinker and does things at his own pace. Something's however demand a faster pace, but worrying about what he “might” lose as compared to the standard quo has him all a fluster.
This is an expected follow up from an author that I really didn’t expect anything less from. Firstly the same two protags are reintroduced to us – but in a different light – a point of acceptance or conforming, a time when a relationship is faced with it’s first fracture and a time when the men or weeded out from the boys.
A short read with really only one hiccuppy moment along the way, but what a ride – the emotion, the solidarity, the uncertainly all lend itself to making this read a worthy follow up to Preston and Scotty’s original story.
Ms. Lane’s knack for bringing out the best and the worst of human emotion is clear and present in this book. I am liking the dynamics of the characters and the little bits of levity and errs makes the story that more real to me. The fact that Ms. Lane refreshes us about and actually give us a bit more insight into Scott’s relationship with his parent was a nice touch. I would have liked to know what happen to Scott’s brother but if that was missing – I got a hell of a lot more and I was more than happy with all that I got.
I loved this series! Scott and Preston are such sexy and loveable heroes, and I loved their story, I wish I had more of them to read about! Why must all wonderful things come to an end?!
Seriously loved it! At first I was afraid the whole book would be about their arguments and then Scott would threat leaving and Preston wouldn't have a choice, but to come out to his parents. I'm soooo glad I was completely wrong! I absolutely loved and sympathized with how Preston had told his folks he was gay and how Scott'd supported him the whole time and I loved the kids and ex-wife's support. I even liked the arguments, I mean not the fightings itself, rather their soft sorrys and tender making out aftermath :)
Im not sure how I feel about this, it seems a little far fetched to me. Preston and Scotty have been living together 7 months and Preston has told his ex-wive and kids he's gay. Scotty's family and friends know they are a couple. However Preston has avoided telling his parents. This is my problem. How do his parents NOT find out before this? Do his parents not see or speak on the phone to their grandchildren or visit Preston in his home? Do they not see each other ever? In 7 months you would think they would have some sort of contact where the cat would've come out of the bag before hand. I wasn't a fan of how it came out. Even if Preston said he was going to tell, he was still feeling apprehensive and basically he was let off the hook by how his parents found out. If I was Scotty I would feel disappointed with the man I love.
Now together for 7 months pres ex is getting married. And they invited but the only problem is his parents are invited. And he still hasn't told them his gay. Can this break the 2 up or will things work out.
Good m/m romance follow-up to At Long Last. Prescott and Scott have been together for seven months, but is Prescott ever going to admit to his family and friends that Scott's not simply his roommate?
