It started out with intriguing characters. The main character Kira has a full private and mysterious scholarship to a top school. A former roommate reappears in her life after a 3 yr. absence with problems. Through the friend she meets a guy who is apparently having private talks with God at the same time every year. And then Kira's boyfriend gets them involved in a high tech memory analysis experiment. I felt like the author did not really pull it all together as well as possible. I would try his next book to see if he improves. He has a fertile imagination, but needs work.

Ok. Could have been condensed into an episode of the Twilight Zone!?! It was a MILD drama in a thrill-igious context. I was expecting MUCH MORE thrill and more supernatural elements--and perhaps a SWAT team busting down a door. Nope. Just human drama with some psychology and religion...
