THE FATE OF THE ANCIENT WORLDS LIES WITH THE LIZARD-CHILD!

A powerful age-old legacy transformed ex-CIA operative Bart Lasker into a fearsome warrior for the soul of Tibet. Now this master over time and death faces a most awesome challenge. At the bidding of the Dalai Lama, the Mystic Rebel must return to his abandoned homeland to defend a newborn child. The infant's life-spark is crucial to the survival of the ancient mountain people--but forces of evil have vowed that the child shall die at birth.

To thwart the sinister will of those who would harm the child, the Mystic Rebel joins forces with both Navajo vision warriors and Tibetan freedom rebels. He must lead them to a rocky place where a lizard stands silhouetted by the full moon, fulfilling a prophecy from the dawn of time. If he succeeds, the worlds of East and west will be linked. But if he fails, the ancient worlds will be shattered forever.

I enjoyed this book, but the series as a whole went on to develop the new age religious themes more than the adventure/assassin story, and I lost interest.

A good adventure/action series with everything you need in one book. You get a spy thriller heavily spiced with mystic martial arts and Tibetan Buddhist supernatural flavoring. Recommended
