I have read a few books by this author and I like her style. I like roadside stories and this is a short read. Approx 61 pages.

This is Sienna and Jacob’s story. Sienna is trying to get away for a few days after making a shocking discovery about her ex-boyfriend. Whilst making her getaway her car breakdown at the side of the road in a snow blizzard. She is alone with no means of getting any help as her phone has died too.

Along comes our hero Jacob to the rescue. Sienna is hesitant to take his help as he is a stranger. Jacob walks off and leaves her as he is cold and wants to get home and Sienna cannot make up her mind whether to take the risk and go with him or not.

I enjoyed the story, it was sweet, funny and romantic! I would recommend this book if you enjoy short stories! This is book 1 in the series.

Sienna is running away from a bad situation and really just needs some time to herself when she becomes stranded on a lonely road in the dead of winter. With little option open to her but to accept the help of a stranger on his way home she does but not without some trepidation of being alone in parts unknown with a sexy stranger.

Sounds good – well it only goes downhill from there. I really wanted to like this story but with no real character development and a plotline that moved in terms of minutes rather than weeks or month –I was doing the whole roll eyes thing alot.
