As it happens with quickies, that's all there is to this story. I'm not complaining, though. I liked Sampson and Bella, there was enough back story to make me care about them and believe they had a good chance at the HEA, and the love scenes were hot. So what's a girl to do but sit back, relax and enjoy? ;)

Note: Seducing Sampson is loosely connected with Merciful Angel, as Angelo (the hero in MA) is Bella's older brother and Sampson's friend. But you don't have to read MA to understand/enjoy SS. In fact, I recommend skipping MA altogether, unless you're a glutton for punishment.

4 stars – Contemporary/Erotic Romance Quickie

My review of the author's related story Merciful Angel applies for this too.

Silly? Yes!

Totally ridiculous even? Certainly!

Hot? A resounding, smuttastic, 'oh hell yeah'!

But wait! This story has some sweetness in it, too. The heroine Bella has been in love (and lust) with her older brother Angelo's best friend and fellow cop Sampson for years, but the last time she tried to seduce him, he pushed innocent, virginal Bella away. Now she's older, more experienced, her brother is out of town for a whole week, and this time Bella isn't letting Sampson resist her seduction or turn her away again. It's a smokin' hot, smutty good romance with a sweet HEA. 4 stars!

Always wanting, waiting and finally love found

Bella dreamed, fantasized about Samson. Invitation but he didn't give in. Then house sitting for her brother gives her the opportunity to seduce. Finally Samson makes his feeling known and no one will stop him. No older brother or cousins,, she will be his, hopefully forever.

I know it's a quickie, but it really needed more back story.
