This story about 13 year old Frankie Lombardi, who is considered a problem child. She is a convicted thief (she stole medicine for her sick mom or took small things she could pawn to help her mom). and runs around with the wrong people. She is being raised by her single mom who works two job just to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. Her mom is also sick. This story is a sad one but also a beautiful one because this could be the reality of so many kids today.
