In His Own Image: We Are Wonderfully Made

Rate this book
Disease is one of the strongest motivations to begin exploring the deeter meanings of life. When we are sick, we ask "why?" The most common response is to blame God, someone else, or something else for our suffering. I would suggest a paradigm shift in our thinking and consider the question, "Is there a connection between behavior, attitudes, thoughts, emotions and disease? The purpose of this book is to shed new light on this subject fron secular viewpoints of psychoneuroimmunology, immunology and endocrinology, and also from scripture.

Amazing books. I thought I would just use it as reference to find out what might be the source of a disease I or a loved one might have. However, the best part of the book was surprisingly the first part which explains how our bodies actually work to bring healing or disease with many quotes from scientific/medical journals. This book will help anyone to realize how their thoughts & emotional reactions determine their health. This combined with The Biblical Foundations of Freedom can work wonders in one's life!
