I’ve used this book several times, a good reference and resource for Krazy quilting. With patterns, ideas, and history, a good, good reference and resource for anyone to have.
Really a handy book on embroidery, nice size, the spiral ring binding makes it easy to lay it flat...and it offers clear instructions for several complex stitches I had never seen before. It's not just about crazy quilting, it is more about the embroidery used on crazy quilts so it is information that transfers over to other projects. Also offers good general thread and fabric info. Nicely laid out, easy to use.
In no way is this a complete book about crazy quilting. It is more of an overview and simple how to directions. There are other, far more complete books out there. That said, it would be a reasonably good addition to a quilter's or embroiderer's reference library as it does describe different techniques clearly.
A must have if you love crazy quilting. Great information for newbies and old hands at this technique.
28 Jan 2012 - just re-read this. A must have book covers more than just the creation of items using crazy quilting techniques it also covers embellishing your projects.
