Good book, I already knew a lot being in the deaf community. The book is a good with the information and history of the time honored tradition. I have my sign name and love it, it is not what one would expect of a typical sign name. I have also given sign names. Both are an honor and very important. I also love they included the sign names of Abbe Charles Micheal de I'Epee, Clerc and Gallaudet. Three of the most important people in deaf culture. I am pleased with this book and the research that went into it. It's not a a big book so it was easy to read withing an hour or two. It is also a great reference book, I can see this book being used a good bit. Have a question you can bring out the book and find your answer in no time. All in All I think it's a good book and one of a kind. Definitely worth reading.
