I loved the concept and execution of Race Around the World - and enjoyed Tony Wilson's documentaries that won him the 1998 series.

David Cornish on the other hand has a different TV background - working for six years for the shocking Burgo's Catch Phrase.

Can these two come together to produce a quality children's book? Yes!

The story has elements many can relate to - the loving Grandmother who is just a little silly - and has that little container of lollies to spoil the grandkids and of course ... Dinosaurs!

The illustrations however are the real stars of this book. David Cornish drew the illustrations in black and white, scanned them in and colored them on the computer. The results are truely amazing.

Of all the Tony Wilson kids' books this is the one that my kids enjoy the most. Is it because it's about Granny? The lollies? Who knows, but it's a good story, well-illustrated.
