This was a cute little book full of facts on bees. I enjoyed it because it presented facts about bees in a simple, straightforward manner. I think kids would like the cool photographs in it. It would be fun to read during an insect unit. It would also be helpful to read if you had kids who were afraid of bees in your class because it teaches them that bees aren't all bad.

Used this paired with The Honeybee Man and a short video from How It's Made: Honey. I liked the information and format if this brief book, but wish the photographs had been easier to see. Several of them were very dark, even with the document camera light on.
