I began writing while in school as extra credit for English class because while I love to write and to read certain aspects just don't come easy. I've been writing steady since I was thirteen. I was homeschooled by a school-sent tutor due to illnesses and still graduated in 1993 from Buckeye Local High School with honors.
My main genre has always been action/adventure stories. My series, Celtic Evil, is my first foray into the world of paranormal/romantic suspense. I have written poetry though I can mainly do this in times of stress or emotional strife.
I still live in Rayland with my family and several spoiled animals.

The author was nice enough to send me a copy of this book. I loved the book, especially how the brothers continued to fight against all odds. How they had nothing in common and had been apart for so long but still managed to come together. The beginning and the way the story ended were perfect. Even though, the main conflict was far from resolved, it didn't seem that the author was reeling us in for a sequel by force. I want to read the next book. The story dragged a little bit in the middle but the end quite made up for it. I loved the brothers but at times, new information about them or their powers was thrust upon us without warning. That is the one thing that I had a problem with. Even with all the evil, the banter and bickering between the brothers makes it a fun book to read. Oh and the scene about Sebastian and Jessica was awesome! Will be reading the sequel soon.

A highly entertaining and magical escape from reality. As an indpendent author I was surprised by the depth of Ms. Rose's characters, the plot, and also the ease in which magic was fitted into an otherwise modern world.
Each of these five brothers were written in a unique way that I found delightful as it allows a reader to have a favorite or to perhaps dislike certain qualities.
Readers will find themselves transported to Ireland in both an actual city and one created and I found no jarring change between the two. I loved the descriptions and could easily picture what she was describing.
An old time reader, this story carried me away with the magic is offered. I loved the characters, though some more than others which I assume is what the author was intending by making her five main characters so different in personality.
I noticed a couple grammar issues but nothing that I couldn't read past as I recognized early on in the story that the author had a more easy or relaxed style which I enjoyed.

I really enjoyed this book. The writing style reminded me of Nora Roberts' Sign of Seven trilogy which is a high compliment from me as I love Nora Roberts. This book centers around the five Fitzgerald brothers who are all practicing witches/wizards. Their parents died 15 years ago and they were all separated from each other by their grandmother. 15 years later, all the brothers experience frightening visions from the wizard who had killed their parents. They all rejoin to form the Circle of Five which together should be able to defeat this wizard. However, the brothers have some unfinished business to deal with among themselves. This book tells the story of Roarke, the only brother who was with their parents when they died. He and his friend Jessica join the brothers and realize they are in love with each other through the trials and tribulations once they arrive at the family residence. I will definitely read the next book in this series.

If your inner editor will struggle with grammar and word-choice issues, Celtic Evil is probably not the book for you. But the story has more to offer the interested reader. The author creates a fascinating cast of characters in the five Rourke brothers, each differently skilled and differently called to return to their ancestral home. Their parents died fifteen years previously and the boys have lived separate lives. But evil is rising and they need to learn to trust each other and their friends if they’re to defeat it.
This isn’t a story of simple magic, but a much darker tale where the malevolent Sebastian seems to start with all the advantages and all the history. The brothers have to heal from wounds of the past, while fighting present peril and learning not to fight each other all the time. Banter round the breakfast table is very nicely done. Magic and reality are molded in a pleasing blend. And true love wins through. The story’s a fun and intriguing read, as long as your inner editor stays quiet, and a fine introduction to the series.

The story was well crafted and interesting. It really shows that the author knows something about magick, which is usually such a let down in a story like this. I loved the characters, there were so many of them and yet each was still fleshed out and original in and of themselves. The relationships between the brothers was the most interesting part of the story. I especially loved Roarke (good thing, given this is his book) Kelly and Ryan.
The story seems cliched by the description but it was done so originally and with such a clean technique that it surpasses any cliches. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes paranormal romance.

"CELTIC EVIL" BY TAMMY SUTO
This book was wonderfully written and a real heart-stopper. There is action around every bend. Ian Fitzgerald's life is turned upside down whe he discovers he is part of a prophecy and has four brothers. Joining up with them they have to overcome evil in order to save their own lives and the lives of the people they love.
Definitely recommend this book to all the paranormal/supernatural fans out there!

The story itself is quite good. Unfortunately however, the writing leaves to be desired. Sentence structure and punctuation is fine at times and somewhat messy at other times. This is what is frustrating because it is not as if the writing is consistently off. Rose demonstrates that she can write well and then suddenly doesn't, then does again and so on... A better editing effort would make this a much more solid book and better read.

I enjoyed this book. I agree with a couple other reviews, it is similar to Nora Roberts Sign of Seven trilogy, which I loved. I also agree with other reviews that the writing needs to be worked on. It was quite a struggle to read at times. A lot more attention to editing is needed for your next books. But all in all a good read. Definitely my kind of book.

I loved this book! I can't wait until I get caught up with all my reading so that I can move on to the next in the series. My favorite character was Ryan...I'm anxious for his book.
There were some places where I became confused between when the story would switch between the brothers. Other than that, I had no complaints whatsoever!

I just finished reading Celtic Evil by Sierra Rose and for a romance it's very good! Normally, I don't read romance books, but the author assured me there was magic and supernatural elements mingled in with the romance brewing in this tale so,I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did.
This story has a cast of five brothers whose parents had been killed fifteen years prior. Their death split the boys up into different households and lives, but they still managed to keep in touch, pretty much. Each has a power passed down from generation to generation even as they shared the physical traits of their parents amongst themselves. Each is also described as being incredibly handsome with smoky gray eyes and blonde hair. Each brother is different personality wise which makes the dynamics of the group fun to watch when they finally come together to combat the evil threatening them all.
I love how the author introduces not only the five brothers but secondary characters as well in colorful, action filled vignettes. She gives you time to get to know them and their place in the unfolding drama before moving on to the next character. By the time she was done, I was eager to see how everyone would handle themselves in the group and with the issue at hand. This was all before Chapter 2 too!
This story is quite evocative; full of such heart wrenching realism I don't recommend for young people and sensitive adults. The dialogue and the drama is very believable. It's so believable in fact, I found myself crying for one of the fictional characters. This is something which Stephen King's writing does to me. There's plenty of romance and light heartedness to balance out the face paced action scenes and the more emotional scenes to perfection.
I've read only one other author who blends romance with magic/supernatural elements, and that is Nora Roberts. Comparing the two authors, I'd say Sierra Rose is on par with Roberts and in fact, in my humble opinion, is in some aspects of her writing, way better.

1st in a 5 part series about 5 brothers trying to defeat an evil wizard on their family's ancient land in Ireland.
The first brother in the series is Roarke(he's the fourth brother of 5) and he has to contend with his many demons including a vicious grandmother who absolutely hates the ground he walks on and the air he breathes,And when his parents died she actually let the people she dumped him with, do what ever they wished to him.
If it hadn't been for a very good friend of his named Jessica, he'd have surely died in the hell his grandmother left him in.She blamed him for being born the forth that would lead to the creation of the five and absolutely hated his mother, because she wasn't the "SHE" had chosen for her "Beloved"Toryn, Roarke's father. The Brothers gathered together,Roarke with Jessica, Mac with a reporter who'd seen the same thing he had when she was with him, Ian and Ryan and they all converged where Kerry stayed at the family ancestral home.
Sebastian the wizard with the help of the vicious grandmother managed to bring down the protective shields and infiltrate the family home. The brothers banded together and with a little help from their grandmother (from their mother's side of the family) managed to defeat the grandmother from hell for a little bit and Roarke managed to defeat Sebastian by coming to terms with what he must do even if it meant shooting Jessica to get to Sebastian(she forgave him).
Fast pace,action packed, light-hearted comedic timing between the brothers.Definitely had a lot of family loyalty and the grand parents that showed up to help were a hoot. Especially grandpa Lorcan.
Enjoyed it. Now it's on to another brother and hopefully the rest of the brothers would get their story soon too.

Celtic Evil: A Fitzgerald Brothers Novel by Sierra Rose is the first novel I have read by this author. It is also the start to what is going to be a really good series. Every one of the Fitzgerald men were great. I couldn’t choose a favorite. Luckily, I don’t have to as the next book in this series continues on with Ryan’s story. I like that there was a strong female lead in Molly. The special gift that she possessed was nice. If you are in the mood for a bit of magic, then you should check out Celtic Evil: A Fitzgerald Brothers Novel.

A Diamond in the Ruff
The book has a wonderful feeling of a fast paced fairytale adventure for grown-ups. If you are a fan of magic, Ireland, love to read about good fighting evil, witchcraft and wizardry, the book won’t leave you disappointed. A warning for English teachers everywhere-- the book is pretty much grammar’s grave. Some pages have as many as 15 mistakes in them, and the book has over 200 pages. Still, think about it as if you were sitting deep in a country, somewhere in Ireland, and a master-storyteller without any formal education was telling you a wonderful tale about five brothers: all handsome, tall, smart, noble, and on their way to face an evil wizard. I have to confess, I quit the book about halfway through while I was reading it for a group read (it turned out to be not something I was truly interested in completing), but I know it will make a great read for many people.

I really have mixed opinions on this book. I'll start off by saying that I love the plot, the idea of the five brothers, some the other characters and the magic/ paranormal stuff. It had the potential to be a truly awesome book, leading to an incredible series! The BIG downfall is the writing. I don't often criticize writing technique but at times it was difficult to follow what was being said and by whom. When I find myself having to reread sentences two and three times, it's distracting. The repetivite use of certain adjectives and endearments was difficult too. That said, I will read the second book. I still like the idea of the plot on a whole and have hope that the writing will improve!!

I rated it three stars. I loved the story line, I loved the characters, I do want to read the other books, But the reason I rated it only three is because it is confusing on which character is doing what. It skips around too much between characters that I often got confused. I did love the book, I loved the setting and all characters...well minus the bad guys and girls.....I enjoyed it once I caught on about who the author was talking about!!! Awesome Job!!!

I enjoyed this book and I have already started the 2nd book. The only problem I had was the editing. There were words missing, sentences that didn't make sense and I had to figure it out. I think just a good editor would fix that problem.

brothers from a family with a long history of paranormal powers, reunited after a years long separation forced by their (evil) granny after the murder of their parents are beset by powers ranging against them. good plots, good characters and each brother does/will find true love.

I didn't finish this book, one of only three books in my life I've failed on, it was that bad. I would like a section of speach with no tag line telling me about the motion of the speaker.

Couldn't get past the preface on this one. The writing was just not good. At all. Bummer, because the storyline looked promising.

I loved this book and I hope to find the rest of the series. I feel that they all are worth reading.
