To discover your Magic Eye, focus your eyes as if you were looking at a faraway object; this is called "diverging" your eyes.
One easy way to do this is to hold the book your nose and very, very, slowly pull the book away from your face. Do not focus on the image; let the image come into focus. Another way to do this is to focus on a reflection on the shiny cover, then just keep staring at the reflection. This may take several attempts. Be patients, eventually the 3D image will magically appear.
